[name]Hi[/name], new user, was very very relieved to find a writer’s section in the forums!
Anyway. I’m writing a sort of fantasy, and I need a name for my [name]Prince[/name] Charming. (And I mean he is, literally, the [name]Prince[/name] Charming.) His working name is [name]William[/name], but that strikes me as too generically prince-y and it’s really starting to get under my skin. I want something classic and regal sounding but distinctly not [name]William[/name]-ish, if that makes sense? Please help.
[name]Octavian[/name]. [name]Love[/name] it. Perfect prince name, especially if something about him goes with the number 8.
I agree with [name]Sebastian[/name], too.
[name]Maximus[/name]
[name]August[/name]
[name]Caspian[/name]
Wait, Crap, never mind about the last one. I was not thinking about Pirates of the Caribbean. [name]Prince[/name] [name]Caspian[/name]. Ugh. [name]Don[/name]'t use it. Pretend I didn’t say that.
[name]Sebastian[/name] is lovely, but I already have a [name]Bastien[/name]… [name]August[/name] is great, and Exanderius is gorgeous. I also like [name]Callan[/name] a lot!
I’m a big fan of [name]Leopold[/name]: it’s regal sounding, easy to read and allows for the cute and easy affectionate nickname [name]Leo[/name]. That’s my vote at least, though I do love [name]Octavian[/name] too. [name]Sebastian[/name] is great too, but as far as stories go, it makes me think too much of [name]Sebastian[/name] the crab from the [name]Little[/name] Mermaid
