Help me name Baby #2!

I have an 1 year old son named [name_m]Archer[/name_m] & we are currently expecting a little girl in 4 months. I’m having trouble coming up with a name that is “cool” enough to stand up next to [name_m]Archer[/name_m], while also being unique but not too outrageous. I’m not a fan of anything super trendy or popular. As a [name_f]Sara[/name_f], I was always one of many in my school days & I want to avoid that with my kiddos

So far I am really leaning towards [name_f]Clea[/name_f] (pronounced ‘clee-uh’) & I’d love to hear your thoughts! Good or bad, but please - be nice! Or if you have something cool that might go with [name_m]Archer[/name_m], feel free to share!

Also, I’d love suggestions on a middle name! Our last name is one syllable & starts with G.

Thanks in advance!

I don’t dislike [name_f]Clea[/name_f] but I’m not sure if stands well next to [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. What about [name_u]Piper[/name_u], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f] or [name_f]Pippa[/name_f]? They all sound equally spunky to me as names.

Some other ideas: [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_f]Celia[/name_f], [name_m]Will[/name_m] and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

I think [name_f]Clea[/name_f] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] are a great set.

I’ll suggest [name_f]Olive[/name_f] only because I have been considering [name_m]Archer[/name_m] as a sibling name for my [name_f]Olive[/name_f]. I love [name_u]Ollie[/name_u] and [name_m]Archie[/name_m] together. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] is spunky, sweet and vintage. Definitely not too popular yet. Good luck!

[name_f]Clea[/name_f] is unique. No complaints about it.

Other thoughts:
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] & [name_f]Maple[/name_f]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] & [name_f]Abigail[/name_f]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] & [name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] & [name_f]Calliope[/name_f]
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] & Halo
[name_m]Archer[/name_m] & Endora

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Clea[/name_f]! [name_f]Clea[/name_f] and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] are interesting sibset, but I wouldn’t say they are too different.

[name_m]Archer[/name_m] is a fabulous name! Congrats on expecting #2!

I think [name_f]Clea[/name_f] is a unique, overall great name. However, personally I just don’t see it next to [name_m]Archer[/name_m]. [name_f]Clea[/name_f] seems more trendy/creative and [name_m]Archer[/name_m] seems more classic with a twist.

I’d suggest something classic with a twist like…
[name_f]Thea[/name_f] : very close to [name_f]Clea[/name_f] but seems less made up? I love this name and it goes super well with [name_m]Archer[/name_m]!
[name_f]Olive[/name_f]: [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_f]Olive[/name_f] sound great, I second PP
[name_f]Matilda[/name_f]: Classic but strong like [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and spunky
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]: Sounds great with [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] with it too
[name_f]Viola[/name_f]: Classic with a twist (from [name_f]Violet[/name_f] to [name_f]Viola[/name_f]) and cool next to [name_m]Archer[/name_m]

I think [name_m]Archer[/name_m] should have as equally cool named sis!

[name_u]Fable[/name_u] [name_f]Reverie[/name_f]

[name_u]Ellery[/name_u] [name_u]Fable[/name_u]

Caer (Irish for [name_m]Ky[/name_m] air) Tensley

or [name_m]Ciar[/name_m] (Irish for Kee ar) [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]

I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Clea[/name_f] with [name_m]Archer[/name_m]!!!

[name_m]Archer[/name_m] on his own leans a little trendy with his surname style, which sort of drowns out the forest-y, [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood-esque associations with archery. In my opinion, [name_f]Clea[/name_f] remedies some of this and makes [name_m]Archer[/name_m] seem more like a nature choice than a trendy surname choice, simply by being more unusual and ancient without feeling old. [name_f]Clea[/name_f] really brings a lot to the sibset, I would say you have a winner!

For some more suggestions:
[name_f]Cara[/name_f]
[name_f]Alba[/name_f]
[name_f]Iona[/name_f]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Lyra[/name_f]
[name_f]Margo[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosa[/name_f]
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_u]Ever[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f]
[name_f]Pearl[/name_f]
[name_f]Liv[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Flora[/name_f]
[name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Helen[/name_f]

I do not care for [name_f]Clea[/name_f]. It sounds and looks incomplete to me. It’s not awful or anything it just doesn’t strike me as enough of a name.

I like [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and [name_u]Morgan[/name_u] with [name_m]Archer[/name_m].

I’ve always seen [name_f]Clea[/name_f] pronounced as [name_m]Clay[/name_m]-uh.

Thanks for all the awesome feedback, everyone!!! Loved the different suggestions  Can’t wait to discuss with my hubby!
