Hey there,
Sorry I wrote so much. If you don’t want to read everything, skip to the photo and what’s below it.
I was hoping I could get some help naming this doll I’m going to be purchasing! She is a Smart [name_m]Doll[/name_m] by the designer [name_u]Danny[/name_u] Choo (son of [name_m]Jimmy[/name_m] Choo). This photo is by the user @summerendipity on Instagram, but I edited on the elf ears. I chose this photo because it’s the closest to how I envision mine to look (you can change their wigs and eye colors).
I like dolls because it’s like creating a character. I’ve always wished I could draw, but sadly I can’t, so I’ll be using a combination of dolls and photography to “create” these characters I have in my head and bring them to life.
I have one Smart [name_m]Doll[/name_m] currently and will be getting this one next. I also have a wishlist of ones I want in the future. I kind of want to give then all nature inspired names as a fun little theme. I’m planning to use a mix of nature word names, as well as regular names with nature meanings.
I already have an [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] (star), and have plans for [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] (to harvest), and [name_f]Daisy[/name_f].
So this character is a [name_u]Gemini[/name_u] and a Ravenclaw (because I’m a nerd who cares about that stuff, lol). She loves to read and can be very studious. She’s also witty, bright, and has a great sense of humor. Here is a fitting description from a zodiac website:
“They are sociable, communicative and ready for fun, with a tendency to suddenly get serious, thoughtful and restless. They are fascinated with the world itself, extremely curious, with a constant feeling that there is not enough time to experience everything they want to see.”
So my top choices so far are:
[name_f]Aerin[/name_f]: This one might be a stretch for a nature name, but I think it could work. I came across it while researching “elvish names”. If you Google “[name_f]Aerin[/name_f] Tolkien meaning” you get “she who desires the sea”, which I absolutely love!
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] (pearl)
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] (coral)
[name_u]Sage[/name_u] (herb)
[name_f]Fern[/name_f] (plant)
Anyway, I’d love to hear some of your thoughts! I also want to know if [name_f]Aerin[/name_f] “works” for what I’m going for.
