hello fellow writers!
so, unfortunately i’m very bad at coming up with (and deciding on) names for my characters, so hopefully you guys could help with that! i’m just going to give a description of them and you can comment names that match that description/you think would suit the character!
(the genre is urban fantasy btw!)
character 1 —
deceptively charming, cunning & lazy as hell, master manipulator, actually really nice but hides it under a (very, very thick) shell. loves getting on people’s nerves + figuring out what makes them tick, but it’s impossible to do the same to him — so unbothered by everything, even when it should bother him. related to that, doesn’t take things seriously; tends to crack jokes, even at the worst times, because actual vulnerability makes him uncomfortable. serial flirt, allergic to commitment. excels in reading people and getting them to do his bidding/play right into his cards — so intelligent, it’s too bad that he uses it to cause chaos rather than something productive. summarize him in one word? bastard.
character 2 —
love interest to above character; the only one that sees right through his persona and won’t accept his crap. is genuinely kind and witty, often giving others the impression that she’s innocent (too much for her own good), but trust, she’s just very observant and takes advantage of the fact that people tend to overlook/underestimate her. she’s witty as heck, and frequently gets one up on character 1 (much to his surprise and never-ending amusement), & has a knack for fooling people — you think you’ve got her where you want her, when out of nowhere she flips the switch and now you’re the one in trouble. incredibly talented, intelligent, “do no harm but take no crap” is her motto.

oh gosh, i LOVE the names atticus and nico for a guy! whit is also a nice one… out of curiosity, what appearance came to mind when you read his description?
as for the female names, i really like georgia… mara is nice too, thank you for the suggestions
When I think of character 1, I see someone with bronze skin and dark hair. He has an easy smile, and his hair is never neat. He’s muscular and lean, but also tall.
When I think of character 2, I see a girl with pale skin, and a very thin, angular face. She has big, blue eyes, and curly brown hair.

Visually, I imagined him with messy brown hair and a smirky smile. Very lanky in build, and not very physically strong. His eyes have that trickster-y glow that’s emphasized by his mischievous smile.
ah i love the name declan for him! as for his appearance, that’s been the general consensus thus far… character design is hard for me to decide on too TwT
araminta is such a cute name, i love minty as a nickname! thank you for the suggestions
ah i see him similarly too! he rarely smiles genuinely, and i do see him as pretty lanky, and the dark hair + dark eyes seem to be accurate for his personality, thank you for the input! <3
