Hello everyone,

I am a cat fanatic (hence the name, Momma [name]Cat[/name]). I foster kittens, and I just got two new bottle babies a few days ago who were abandoned outside of a Humane Society during one of our largest storms. They were given the names Thunder and Lightning, a boy and a girl, by the organization I foster for, but I’m not really feeling these names.

Since I used up all my naming energy recently on deciding on [name]Luther[/name] [name]Augustus[/name] for my soon-to-be baby boy, I thought that I’d turn this dilemma into a game for you guys to enjoy! I’ll give you a description of the kittens’ personalities if they were humans, and you can suggest names that you think fit these descriptions! I’ll then narrow down your suggestions and make a poll to determine the winners! [name]Hope[/name] you enjoy!

The girl has bright blonde hair and stunning blue eyes, and she’s a complete tomboy! She wears her brother’s old shirts and jean overalls with the pant legs rolled up, digging around in the mud and dirt for worms and rolly pollies. She’s got the biggest grin and mud splattered on her face. She loves to wrestle with her brother on the grass in their backyard, and they are very competitive, always having races and competitions to see who can climb the tree the fastest or catch the most fireflies. Secretly, she loves to dress and up and feel like a “girly-girl”, wearing her mom’s makeup and trying on dresses, but she’d never let her brother know that!

Her brother is a big kid with short blond hair and a fantastic smile. He’s tough and strong, but one of those lovable, sweet guys you just want to hug.

As the girl gets older, she becomes very athletic (inspired by the Olympics…heehee) and plays hockey. Her brother is big and burly with a deep voice and warm, welcoming personality. He is her biggest fan and is always the one cheering the loudest at all her games. As she steps off the ice after every game, he’s there to give her a huge hug, clap her on the back, and then wrestle her sweat-matted hair into a noogie.
