Okay, I know this is a little bit different, but I’m trying to find a new name for ME.
A little background: My father named me. He was abusive and every time I use my name, I think of him. I have wanted to change it for years but haven’t ever had the courage until now. The only problem is, I can’t think of a name that fits. I’ve tried imagining what I’d name a daughter should I have one (I have two boys) but I’m still coming up blank! It’s a very different thing naming a sweet baby vs a grown woman.
I thought I’d check here and see if anyone had any beautiful girl names that would fit a 30 something nature lover. I have a list of names that I love but can’t seem to settle on one. I want something that will age well and also not stick out too much, but would still be uncommon. My name is currently [name_f]Amanda[/name_f] (super trendy in the 80’s!) and last name is [name_m]Anderson[/name_m].
Anyways, if anyone has any nice names that they could throw my way, I would appreciate it! <3
