Older sister is [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. These are all the names on the list and I wanted to see what people thought! Open to suggestions as well!
I love word names so I pretty much like everything on your list. One that really stands out to me is the virtue name [name_f]Clarity[/name_f]. I have long loved this name because not only is it a word/virtue name but:
You get the bonus of using [name_u]Clare[/name_u]/[name_f]Claire[/name_f] as a nn. If she’s shy as a teenager and doesn’t want something that stands out [name_f]Claire[/name_f] fits nicely.
The meaning is beautiful. Who doesn’t want more clarity? And with [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] the meaning is even more special.
It’s unique but easy to spell and pronounce. [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] might get confused with [name_f]Rosemarie[/name_f] but that can’t happen with [name_f]Clarity[/name_f].
They y ending makes it flow nicely with most surnames. [name_m]Hence[/name_m] the popularity of [name_u]Ashley[/name_u]-sounding names. This name is a classy, grown up
version of [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u].
They are all nice names, though. [name_f]My[/name_f] number 2 pick would be [name_u]Harmony[/name_u].
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] is my favorite! I also like [name_f]Autumn[/name_f], [name_f]Serenity[/name_f], [name_f]Sienna[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f] & [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
I think these sound the best:
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f]
I’m not a fan of two obvious nature names paired together, so of those I like [name_f]Clarity[/name_f], [name_u]Harmony[/name_u] (kind of cheesy with [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] [name_f]IMO[/name_f]), [name_f]Serenity[/name_f], and [name_f]Verity[/name_f].
[name_f]Clarity[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - There’s nothing really wrong with it, but the repeating first initial bothers me.
[name_f]Clover[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - Ditto [name_f]Clarity[/name_f].
[name_f]Crystal[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - Ditto [name_f]Clarity[/name_f], plus it has a somewhat stripper-y image these days.
[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - Too cheesy with [name_f]Cadence[/name_f].
[name_f]Journey[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - Sounds like “journey down.”
[name_f]Melody[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - Also too cheesy with [name_f]Cadence[/name_f]. Also, the back-to-back D sounds are awkward.
[name_f]Serenity[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - [name_f]Serenity[/name_f] has become the go-to [name_f]Mary[/name_f]-[name_f]Sue[/name_f] name.
[name_f]Sienna[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] - Sounds like a paint color.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites are [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Melody[/name_f] ([name_f]Cadence[/name_f] and [name_f]Melody[/name_f] would be a very musical-sounding pair), [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Sienna[/name_f]. Of those, I don’t know if [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] matches [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] stylistically - I think of [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] as much more classic and [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] as much more contemporary.
I have a cousin named [name_f]Amber[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f], which is close to [name_u]Ember[/name_u], but is slightly more wearable [name_f]IMO[/name_f].
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Dawn[/name_f] is definitely my favorite with [name_f]Cadence[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]. [name_f]Verity[/name_f] is my 2nd fave.
