I started with 26 names and have gotten down to 19. I’d like to get down to 12. I know I’ll need to narrow it down more later. My problem is that I worry that as soon as I take a name off that it might have been " the one". Anyway, here’s the list:
I would remove Nina & Penny from your list. They are cute as nicknames, but I think a child needs a more substantial name to grow up with. I would also remove Nadia. It’s pretty, but dated, imo (although NB seems to disagree with me ). All the Nadias I know are my age -so it’s a mommy name to me. Alina and Alaina are too similar -you could never use both in a sibset, so you could remove one of those. I prefer Alaina.

I posted this before I saw that your DS is Julian. I don’t think Vivian works well with Julian due to the similar sounding end to the two names. Although I really like the name!
Oh gosh, I narrowed your list down to ten instead of twelve. I rated the names on their flow (mostly with your surname since the fn and ln are what most people are commonly called in real life). I had to eliminate some names that I love/like. [name]Violet[/name] Mermer is too similar to “violent murmur”, [name]Winter[/name] Mermer and [name]Victoria[/name] Mermer just don’t sound right.
I agree about [name]Victoria[/name] and [name]Nadia[/name], so I’ll take those out. I like [name]Violet[/name] and [name]Winter[/name] too much to take them off so quickly. We’ll see what the consensus is. I wouldn’t use both [name]Alaina[/name] and [name]Alina[/name] but can’t decide which I like better. I love both [name]Penny[/name] and [name]Nina[/name], but haven’t been able to come up with full names for [name]Penny[/name] that I like. What would [name]Nina[/name] be a nickname for?

With the surname Mermer, which sounds like murmur, I’d leave off anything that sounds wordy as it just wouldn’t work - [name]Violet[/name], [name]Penny[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Winter[/name] and [name]Vienna[/name]/[name]Sienna[/name]. [name]Vivian[/name] also endds in the same sounds as [name]Julian[/name], so I’d leave that off for being pretty close.
Then I’d remove a couple due to personal preference - not a fan of [name]Felicity[/name], [name]Alina[/name] or [name]Alaina[/name] (though I do like it as [name]Elena[/name]) would leave me with a top 10 of:
