My top 14 would be (favourites in bold):
[name]Clara[/name] - Beautiful, delicate choice, glad it’s not going anywhere
[name]Phoebe[/name] - Spritely and fun, I like that it has deep history but can feel modern.
[name]Anastasia[/name] - Stunning, melodic name that’s rich in history.
[name]Annabelle[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name], plus this is my favourite spelling.
[name]Adelaide[/name] - [name]Adore[/name] this, one of my absolute favourites.
[name]Eleanor[/name] - Classic and regal.
[name]Cassia[/name] - [name]How[/name] are you pronouncing this? I’ve heard both cash-uh and cass-ee-uh. [name]Both[/name] are lovely.
[name]Cecilia[/name] - Beautiful but not keen on the meaning.
[name]Lucia[/name] - Exotic and pretty. Curious which pronunciation you’re using?
[name]Catherine[/name] - My favourite from your list. I love it’s meaning, it’s history, it’s nicknames, the list goes on.
[name]Genevieve[/name] - Dainty and lacy with plenty of nn opportunity. To me, this strikes the perfect balance between unusual and familiar.
[name]Maria[/name] - I don’t hear this very often at the moment. It’s refreshing, actually.
[name]Violet[/name] - A tad trendy, but gorgeous nonetheless.
[name]Philomena[/name] - [name]Love[/name] how unexpected and quirky this is. Perhaps slightly clunky, but I really like that.
Dropped:
[name]Vivienne[/name] - Very pretty, but I much prefer the spellings [name]Vivian[/name] or [name]Vivien[/name]. [name]Vivienne[/name] looks a bit fussy to me.
[name]Elise[/name] - This is nice but bland to me. Sort of generic, and blends in with all the [name]Ellie[/name]/[name]Elsie[/name]/[name]Eloise[/name]/[name]Eliza[/name]/[name]Ella[/name]/[name]Elle[/name]/[name]Elisa[/name]/[name]Elsa[/name] etc names without really adding anything new or fresh.
[name]Victoria[/name] - I love how this looks and sounds in theory, but it seems fairly overused. The possibility of [name]Vicky[/name] puts me off slightly, too. Would be lovely as a middle name (it’s one of my own, actually!)
Avielle - I have a feeling I’ll really like this name in time, but at the moment it feels too tragic.
[name]Ruth[/name] - This has always seemed very blunt and plain to me, although the nn [name]Ruthie[/name] is sweet.
[name]Stella[/name] - A bit harsh and trendy to my ears. However, I love [name]Estella[/name] so I’m probably just fickle. To my ears, [name]Estella[/name] is much softer.
[name]Priscilla[/name] - Very, well, prissy… To me it lacks a bit of strength or substance.
[name]Willa[/name] - Sounds flimsy and incomplete, but again, I really like [name]Willow[/name], so I’m very strange.
[name]Emily[/name] - This is so pretty but so so common.
[name]Charlotte[/name] - Overused to the extreme in my area, plus the harlot thing always gets me. Also, while it looks very attractive on paper, it somehow sounds sort of slurred and insubstantial when said out loud. Maybe that’s just to do with accents.
[name]Colette[/name] - Not a fan of the Col- sound in girls names.
[name]Hope[/name] this helps
