Help me out?

I’m working on a dystopian novel, and I’ve been searching for a guy’s name for over a month. The other names have come pretty easily, but I’m stuck on this one.
(Really) [name_m]General[/name_m] premise:
Sickness rages, bacteria have developed immunity to everything we’ve got to throw at them, and the healthy people have been quarantined.
Partial character list:
[name_f]Zoey[/name_f] [name_m]Blanchard[/name_m]-MC, healthy
[name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_m]Rowe[/name_m]-LI, gets sick & kicked out
[name_f]Kitty[/name_f] [name_m]Blanchard[/name_m]-MC’s little sister, healthy
Unnamed character-Male, helps MC get out & find LI, has personal agenda, mysterious
I need a first and last name for him, and anything helps. I’d like to apologize in advance if I decline your name without a solid reason. I’m trying to find one that feels right.

I like the premise! You didn’t give us too much info about him, but I hope I helped or inspired ya’!

First Names:
[name_m]Harvey[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]/[name_m]Lucian[/name_m] “[name_m]Luc[/name_m]” (ya’ know, lightbringer and all that. could be in reference to him helping MC [go towards the light!] or a juxtopisition to his mysteriousness)
[name_m]Quinton[/name_m]
[name_m]Landon[/name_m]
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
[name_m]Ryder[/name_m]
[name_u]Sterling[/name_u]

Last Names:
The other character’s last names seem to be [name_m]French[/name_m]/English so I tried to do something along those lines.
[name_u]Chauncey[/name_u]
[name_u]Courtney[/name_u]
[name_u]Darcy[/name_u]
[name_m]Gordon[/name_m] (also means “spacious fort”, could be a hint to him being closed off, or with his defenses up with his own personal agenda?)
Lavigne
[name_f]Mallory[/name_f] (means unhappy, unlucky, if that has any bearing on the character)
Sheehy (means mysterious, eerie. You could change the spelling if it doesn’t work for you, too)
[name_m]Hyde[/name_m] (too obvious?)

[name_m]Alexander[/name_m] “[name_u]Alex[/name_u]” [name_m]Jones[/name_m] or [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] “[name_m]Matt[/name_m]” [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] could work.

(I’m sorry if this response feels awkward, I really am grateful for your help)
I like [name_m]Luc[/name_m] as a nn, [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] is definitely a possibility. [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] feels like a little much, going side by side with [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. [name_m]Harvey[/name_m] sounds a little rough, but depending on how I flesh out the character, it might fit. I like [name_m]Quinton[/name_m] as a name, but not for this character, and the same with [name_m]Landon[/name_m]. They just don’t… I don’t know, exactly. They don’t feel right. [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] feels overused, even though it isn’t. It’s just a kind of residual feeling I get from hearing it about twice or so. I love the name [name_m]Ryder[/name_m], but a good friend recently named her baby that, so that one’s sadly out due to association. [name_u]Sterling[/name_u] has more of a last name feel to me, and I may use it for that. [name_u]Chauncey[/name_u], [name_u]Courtney[/name_u], and [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] feel too delicate for this, and there’s the obvious Mr. [name_u]Darcy[/name_u] connection here that I’m uncertain poor unnamed boy will live up to. I love [name_m]Gordon[/name_m] and [name_f]Mallory[/name_f]. Either one of those could fit well for him. Sheehy feels strange, and not quite in the best way. And yeah, [name_m]Hyde[/name_m] is too obvious.
I like [name_u]Alex[/name_u] [name_m]Jones[/name_m] and [name_m]Matt[/name_m] [name_u]Quinn[/name_u], but they feel…stereotypical. Faceless and general.

When it comes to mystery… I like one syllable names. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_u]Seth[/name_u]? A little soft, but it has a sense of unknown. Also, very different than [name_m]Caspian[/name_m]. [name_m]Zane[/name_m]? [name_m]Zak[/name_m] (no C)? [name_m]Clarke[/name_m]?

[name_m]Enoch[/name_m] has a Biblical feel but in the Bible this character never dies… just disappears. The Bible says God ‘took him’ so it has a strange feel to it.

What do you think?

I like the one syllable thing, and if his name doesn’t end up that way, his nn will be. Personal association refuses to allow me to see [name_u]Seth[/name_u] in a positive light, though I do like the feeling behind it. [name_m]Zane[/name_m] feels a bit too spotlighted, somehow. I like [name_m]Zak[/name_m] quite a bit. The different spelling makes it feel kind of other, even though the name itself isn’t uncommon. If I’m going to use [name_m]Clarke[/name_m], I’d spell it [name_m]Clark[/name_m]. The character feels like he isn’t an unnecessary letters kind of person. [name_m]Enoch[/name_m] would be cool if I used it for possible foreshadowing. Maybe a kidnapping? Strange disappearance?
