The two options are [name]Lucy[/name] and [name]Luca[/name]
they will determine if I pick a second girl name from my list that is frilly or one that is unisex.
Which option do you like best?
UNISEX
[name]Luca[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Luca[/name] [name]Kate[/name]
[name]Luca[/name] [name]Rose[/name]
(sister options would be things like [name]Monroe[/name], [name]Harper[/name], [name]Ezra[/name], etc.)
OR THE FRILLY PATH (unisex MNs)
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Monroe[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Madden[/name]
[name]Lucy[/name] Maddex
Lucy Charles (charles is the name of my maternal grandfather- most genuine christian man i know)
I much prefer the second group. [name]Luca[/name] is a totally male name to me, but [name]Lucy[/name] is really nice - [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Monroe[/name] or [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Madden[/name] would both be good choices.
I think [name]Luca[/name] [name]Rose[/name] is pretty, but I like the name [name]Lucy[/name] a ton. [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Madden[/name] is really beautiful! If you wanted to use [name]Charles[/name] because it has a special meaning to you, you could always try [name]Luca[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] to girl it up a bit.
[name]Do[/name] you guys hate [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name]? I dont know why- but it is giving off a sophisticated edgy charm to me- plus my grandpa is the cutest sweetest thing which also makes me love it
I don’t hate [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name] at all - in the Southern U.S. especially a lot of girls have male middle names honoring someone. I think it’s very cute and snappy.
I don’t hate [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name] either. It’s a bit spunky. I wouldn’t be brave enough to do it myself and would go with [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name], but if you want to honor your grandpa, I think it’s an excellent choice. I definitely prefer [name]Lucy[/name] with a unisex middle over the unisex first name.
Much prefer [name]Lucy[/name] over [name]Luca[/name]! And I don’t find [name]Lucy[/name] frilly at all! Is that just me?
I class [name]Lucy[/name] with [name]Chloe[/name], [name]Nina[/name], [name]Lily[/name] - feminine, short, sweet, non-frilly.
I love [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name]! There is a blogger who named her baby [name]Vivienne[/name] [name]Charles[/name] and I think it sounds so sweet to have such a girly first name with a masculine middle name.
I vote for the frilly path. Unisex names sound fine to me as middle names, even when I don’t like them as first names.
I don’t hate [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name]. Anyway, many male names, including [name]Charles[/name], can also be surnames, and a surname as a middle name for a girl is very common. Also you have a personal reason for choosing it.
My vote would go to [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Monroe[/name], but I wouldn’t mind seeing [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name] if it is important to you!
I prefer [name]Lucy[/name] to [name]Luca[/name] too. [name]Luca[/name] is a male name in my world. I find [name]Charles[/name] too masculine for a little girl (or a grown woman for that matter), but I think your desire to name a child after your grandfather very sweet. I liked the pp idea of using [name]Charlotte[/name]. [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charlie[/name] doesn’t work, but [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] is a really pretty name. Other more feminine forms of [name]Charles[/name] are
[name]Carla[/name],
[name]Carly[/name],
[name]Caroline[/name],
[name]Carlyn[/name],
[name]Charla[/name],
[name]Carol[/name], …
[name]Luca[/name] is NOT A GIRLS’ NAME. To me using [name]Luca[/name] for a girl would be as ridiculous-sounding as naming her [name]William[/name] or [name]Paul[/name]. Please for the love of god, use [name]Lucy[/name].
[name]Luca[/name] is a boys name to me and something I would consider for a future son so I don’t see it on a girl. I really like [name]Lucy[/name] though! [name]Lucy[/name] [name]Charles[/name] is cute and I like the sentiment behind it. I also really like [name]Lucy[/name] Monrow, its cute with a Hollywopd glamour vibe
