Help me replace the newest rejects by DH

My husband has rejected a new batch of my faves!

I have such a hard time getting him to agree on names! He always gives me the wierdest reasons why he doesnt like the names… ( i wrote his “reasons” below!

So here are the recent rejects! I would love suggestions on how to replace them!!! :slight_smile:

  • [name_u]Dean[/name_u] … he said " like DINNER? (DEANER)…

  • [name_m]Abraham[/name_m] ( he likes [name_m]Abe[/name_m] but sayd our future son is not an old man with a white beard)

  • [name_u]Blaise[/name_u] ( said…Like [name_u]Blaze[/name_u]? as in smking pot?)

  • [name_m]Augusten[/name_m] or varation of… He said NO I hate [name_u]Gus[/name_u] its like disGUSting

  • [name_m]Silas[/name_m] ( i think I can still convince him of this but he said NO… no reason just No

So PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help me replace these 5!!!

Oh, dear! You have a challenge ahead of you! His “reasons” make me think he could come up with a weird reason for every name. You might have to go with a more classic/traditional name.

@auroradawn… YES DS middle name is [name_u]James[/name_u]!

I really like [name_m]Alasdair[/name_m], [name_m]Abram[/name_m], [name_m]Linus[/name_m], and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. But our last name beings with [name_m]AL[/name_m] and DH alsready vetoed [name_f]Alma[/name_f] for girls due to that… I will try for [name_m]Abram[/name_m] and see about [name_m]Linus[/name_m]! As for sebastian we know 3!!! So its a little too popular for me to want to actually use!

@Sllah… I know his reasons are crazy! When I wanted to name our first son [name_m]Atticus[/name_m] he said it sounded like Attic… I told him that YES it did sound a little like attic but who cares… apparently he did!!! LOL

I like [name_u]Everett[/name_u], [name_m]Grant[/name_m] and [name_m]Vincent[/name_m]! [name_m]Vincent[/name_m] IS already on our list and has been DH approved! I like [name_m]Grant[/name_m] but Im not sure is sounds good in Spanish which is what we speak at home and the only language that DH’s family speaks… Maybe he will go for everett???
