So the original combo is [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Frey[/name_m] and my only problem is that I absolutely dislike the meaning of [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] (hollow, according to Nameberry). I know many people don’t really care about the meaning of a name, and I don’t too, to some extent, but I am not sure “hollow” is something I can ever completely get over with. It just sounds depressing to me so I’ve moved [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] to the GP list.
So far I’ve considered [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] and [name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m], but feel like they aren’t the one. Any ideas, Berries?

I can’t believe I didn’t think of [name_m]Lucius[/name_m] before. It’s a great option, but again, not sure I love it as much. Sorry for being so damn picky.
Cassander is a Latinized version of an ancient Greek name that means “shining man” or “man who excels.” [name_u]Cassidy[/name_u] is also a unisex name (it was originally male) coming from [name_f]Caiside[/name_f] meaning “curly haired.” There’s also [name_m]Castor[/name_m] (excel/shine root), Caelius (heaven), Callias (beauty), and [name_m]Chas[/name_m] (man) which are sort of similar to other names that have been listed.
That’s what I think too, [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Frey[/name_m] doesn’t flow as well. I absolutely love [name_m]Marius[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m], but already associate them too much with someone/something else. Like… I have a friend called Mariusz and I don’t want him to think I am naming my future son after him, and the name [name_m]Felix[/name_m] is, unfortunately, related to an ex-bf of mine. ._. [name_m]Icarus[/name_m] is already on my list too somewhere. [name_m]Castor[/name_m] is also unfortunately unusable due to my native language.
I recently consider [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] too. Is it too Supernatural? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you prefer [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Frey[/name_m] or [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Frey[/name_m]? Any other suggestions are welcomed.
[name_m]Castiel[/name_m] is a gorgeous name. I’m not sure what percentage of the general population knows that [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] has risen into the top 1000 because of Supernatural. Anyone who watches the show will ask you about it, but personally I’d just be thrilled to have found a fellow nerd.
I really like [name_m]Marius[/name_m] and [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] with your combos. I also think [name_u]Jules[/name_u] [name_u]Orion[/name_u] [name_m]Frey[/name_m] is nice.
I (obviously) can’t get enough of [name_m]Magnus[/name_m], but if you’re not feeling it, you’re not feeling it - we all have those names that are almost but not quite The Ones!
Thanks berries. I guess I’ll save [name_m]Caspian[/name_m] for another possible combo, as I don’t think it flows as well. My favourites so far are still [name_m]Castiel[/name_m] and [name_m]Magnus[/name_m] but I am open to other possibilities. I especially like [name_m]Darius[/name_m]!

I’m surprised that [name_m]Cassius[/name_m] means hollow since the female version of the name, [name_f]Cassia[/name_f], means, “cinnamon” which could translate to, “spicey”. It comes from the cassia tree. I think it’s a great name and you should check it out further before giving up on your favorite name.
