Not expecting, just looking to sort out my girls’ list. So after not thinking about my own list for a while, I have a new collection of favourites for boys that I’m fairly happy with. I’m really struggling with girls however; there are plenty of names I really like but don’t quite love, and the ones I really do love don’t seem to have an overarching style that might help me find other favourites.
My boys’ list at the moment consists of [name_u]Valentine[/name_u], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_u]Florian[/name_u], [name_m]Ludovic[/name_m], [name_m]Cassian[/name_m], [name_m]Raphael[/name_m], [name_m]Jago[/name_m], [name_m]Thaddeus[/name_m], [name_m]Fabian[/name_m], [name_m]Percival[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Laszlo[/name_m] and a few others that come and go.
So far for girls, my two favourites that have been around for ages and I know I love are [name_f]Gwendolen[/name_f] and Rosenwyn ( prn. ro-[name_u]ZEN[/name_u]-wyn). I love Cornish names, old-fashioned/clunky names, mythological names, some classics, some nature names. Basically anything with at least a little history/a good story behind it, bonus points for cool literary or historical namesakes or a fun meaning. My signature has some examples of the names I’m considering at the moment.
What girls’ names from my signature do you think work best with my boy faves? What other names would you suggest based on my boys’ list, the girls in my signature and the general style I seem to go for?
