  • Sylvie Eleanor : 18 (30%)
  • Celeste Rosalind : 13 (22%)
  • Margo Vivienne : 14 (23%)
  • Margo Susannah : 6 (10%)
  • Maeve Rosalie: 9 (15%)

I like all of your names (firsts and middles) so this was tough.

1 [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] - these are two gorgeous and classy names.
2 [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] - a beautiful combo
3 [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - very pretty

I love the [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling [name_f]Margot[/name_f] (with a silent T). For me, [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is complete. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] looks like she’s missing a limb (letter).

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] is beautiful.

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] is my favorite, but I like [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] as well with your sibset.

I voted for [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] but [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] came a close second. I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] to [name_f]Margo[/name_f]. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] would be lovely.

I actually prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with the t as well but I just have this feeling that kids could be very mean with that spelling and I worry about pronunciation issues. It is good to know though that most people prefer that spelling.

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I’m surprised at how close all the names are. Although I was hoping there would be a clear cut winner to make my job easier.

I really like all of your combos and think that any of them would be a good match with your other daughters. I voted for [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]. I like that [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] has the ie ending making it so that all your girls’ names would end in a different sound. You can’t go wrong with any of your choices though

  • [name_f]Margo[/name_f]: I prefer the [name_f]Margot[/name_f] spelling as well, but I voted for [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] would also be precious. I really feel like [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would go the best with [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f].
  • [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]: This always feels like a nickname for [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] to me, and I vastly prefer [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f].
  • [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]: It feels a little short and doesn’t give me the same retro, spunky but romantic feelig I get from [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f].
  • [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]: This would be my second choice. It has a lovely meaning, it sounds good with [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f] and [name_f]Vera[/name_f], and [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is beautiful.

For what it’s worth, I know two adult Margots, both spelled that way, and both love their name and have never been teased for it. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] just looks incomplete after seeing [name_f]Margot[/name_f].

[name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]! None of the other FNs are my thing at all, sorry, but I really love [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], and I love them together. In general, I’m one of those weird Berries that much prefers the more classic [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] to the trendy (in a good way!), chic, [name_m]French[/name_m] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]. But I really love [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f]; I think it’s beautiful.

Definitely [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], but maybe not with [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]

[name_f]Celeste[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f] is my favourite, and, like ashthedreamer, I like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], but I [name_f]LOVE[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] fits slightly better than [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] & [name_f]Margo/name_f with your other girls.

Thanks for all the feedback and votes! I love all the names but my husband is leaning towards [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] at this point so we will see what happens. And neither of us like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]. That name seems to be firmly rooted in our parents generation. To me it just sounds old…but not old enough to have that nice vintage charm that I feel [name_f]Vera[/name_f] has.

IF anyone has any more feedback please don’t hesitate to post. I enjoy reading how people view my favorite names.

[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] are my faves! So lovely
