HELP! Middle name- yes or no?

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!

So my husband and I love the thought of a double name for our little girl. We love the name [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] but can’t agree on if that should be her first and middle name or just her first name and then pick another name as her middle name or giving her two middle names.

The middle name I was thinking of is [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (after my sister) but my husband is worried the name will be too long

Thoughts?

Firstly I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] it is a gorgeous combo!
Secondly as someone who has a hyphenated first name and no middle name I don’t see that you have to have a middle if you use [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a first, also if you would like to call her [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] the majority of the time it makes sense for it to be the full first name.
Thirdly I think that [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] doesn’t have the best flow although I wouldn’t say it is too long. [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] would flow better but then you lose the [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] part and quite frankly the middle name isn’t often heard much and it doesn’t have to have the best flow if you like it (sorry does that make sense?)

So I would say go for [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as a first name and if you do decide to use a middle then [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a lovely choice.

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] means [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but if you don’t mind that, I would use [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] as first/middle. Otherwise [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

I would be bothered by the fact that [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is basically [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Anna[/name_f] with a monosyllabic middle, [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a little too expected if you ask me, and kind of overshadows the simpler (more beautiful) [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

[name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] would not be too long if you ask me, but I still wouldn’t use [name_f]Grace[/name_f] with [name_f]Anna[/name_f].

Totally out-of-the-blue, I would like to suggest [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Blythe[/name_f]. It has the same charms as [name_f]Anna[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] without the meaning being doubled, and [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] has all her letters in common with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] which I would say honours your sister fabulously. [name_f]Blythe[/name_f] is so under-appreciated! ^^
