Help name a sister for Azula & Indira

Azula, [name_f]Indira[/name_f], and Freyja are a match made in heaven! I love Freyja with all the middles you listed, my favorite is Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] - so darling!

Some others I think sound great with your girls’ names: [name_f]Sabina[/name_f], [name_f]Junia[/name_f], [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f], [name_f]Verity[/name_f], and [name_f]Saskia[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Junia[/name_f] & [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]. I know DH nixed [name_f]Juniata[/name_f] already but I will check w him about [name_f]Ginevra[/name_f]!

Not sure if I like it more than Freyja or the others though.

First of all, I adore all of your names!! Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] are perfection in every way!

To add to that… Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is to die for. Fits in beautifully and by itself is wonderful as well. I quite like -a ending names and I think if I have a few girls, mine will end p being all -a endings as well. I don’t mind! I don’t think Freyja is too “normal” at all. I think it creates a gentle balance between all siblings and the [name_f]Moon[/name_f] reference is pretty neat. I also like moon because it is a word middle name like your other two. I would pick Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] over the others, hands down!

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is also gorgeous and would be my next pick. It is whimsical, like your others, yet easy to pronounce and instead of having an -a ending, it shares the same amount of syllables instead, which is nice.

I would say [name_f]Athena[/name_f] is a bit to close in characters, syllables and site as Azula.

Other suggestions?
Evolet - doesn’t end in -a but has a special character V that gives the name a unique, fairytale like vibe, like your others
[name_f]Eulalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Boheme[/name_f]
[name_f]Cosima[/name_f]
Costella
[name_f]Finola[/name_f] - Irish, I think it sounds perfect with your others and I love love the nn [name_m]Fin[/name_m]. [name_f]Nola[/name_f] is also a possibility, It also shares the F beginning and A anding as [name_f]Freya[/name_f] but is less common
[name_f]Nayeli[/name_f] - pretty!
[name_f]Noelani[/name_f] or Zoelani

I think Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is perfect alongside Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f]. Yes, I can see Freyja being more ‘normal’ than Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f], but the spelling you have used makes it just as ‘out there’ and uncommon as Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f]. [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is also another beautiful name, but Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f] feel beautifully mysterious, whereas [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] is light and fluffy, so I don’t think it works. Because of this, I’d definitely pick Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f].

@micke156 thanks for the suggestions! None if them hit the sweet spot for me unfortunately although [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] & Evolet are very intriguing.
I think I agree with you about [name_f]Athena[/name_f]. When I say them out loud together especially it does strike as very similar to Azula. & I agree with another previous poster that the two being so similar might leave [name_f]Indira[/name_f] as the odd name out.

@eoxima I hear you about [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] sounding a little more “fluffy” than the other girls. My othe hesitation wit it is pronunciation & whether to say it [name_f]ELowen[/name_f] like most people would assume it’d be pronounced, or properly as eLOWen. I really like it on paper but I love it a little less aloud. I do love the lush foresty vibe [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] gives, but I think Freyja has that same green feeling and still sounds gentle but with a little more sass & strength to keep up with [name_f]Indira[/name_f] & Azula. Not to mention the single pronunciation and the awesome namesake.
Today I think Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] is my favourite combo but I am also really liking Freyja [name_u]Cedar[/name_u].

Question:

What vibe do you all get from the name Freyja by itself?

What about Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f]?

What about Freyja [name_u]Cedar[/name_u]?

What about Freyja [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]?

[name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] is fantastic!

Question:

What vibe do you all get from the name Freyja by itself?

What about Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f]? this sounds whimsical, hippy-ish, and a bit childish (in a good way). i like it a lot, but it does remind me of child actor soleil moon frye.

What about Freyja [name_u]Cedar[/name_u]? phonetically i don’t find this very appealing, but i do love cedar. i think it’s a bit too ryhmey with the repetition of -e and -a sounds. overall its also hippy-ish, but in a more hipster way.

What about Freyja [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]? this one is the most “normal” one. it sounds ok, but something about it does not convince me.

i think you should use freyja moon since it’s meaningful and you keep going back to it.

moon doesn’t fit perfectly with coral and rosemary, maybe something more vintage and common like violet would fit. freyja violet sounds great and matches her sisters.

i also like freyja linnea to keep things nordic

I love Freyja with Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f].
I like the MN [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] and [name_f]Moon[/name_f] for Freyja.
I personally find [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] too masculine.

Freyja [name_f]Luna[/name_f] would still honor the blue moon.

I think [name_f]Cosima[/name_f] would also work as a sister to Azula and [name_f]Indira[/name_f].

I read your signature, and I really love all three combos: Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f], [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], and [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]!!! They’re so beautiful! I think the middle names complement the first names perfectly. It’s hard to choose between the three, but if I had to Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] would be my favorite! I love both Freyja and [name_f]Moon[/name_f] so much! Followed by [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], because I love [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] and it’s beautiful with [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] {I have the same problem with [name_f]Elowen[/name_f], I love the way it looks on paper and I love the vibe it gives me, but I’m not as in love with the “eLOWen” pronunciation as the “[name_f]ELowen[/name_f]” pronunciation, even though it’s how you properly say it; it’s still wonderful though and I think I could grow to fall in love with “eLOWen” if I ever used it}. Last would be [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u], but only because it starts with an “A”, like Azula. I really, really love [name_u]Cedar[/name_u].

What vibe do I get from the name Freyja? An enchanting, whimsical, foresty vibe!

What about Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f]? Absolutely magical!!! So beautiful! I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Moon[/name_f]!

Freyja [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] and Freyja [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] are both lovely, but they just don’t “sparkle” the way Freyja [name_f]Moon[/name_f] does for me; they don’t complement Freyja as well as [name_f]Moon[/name_f] in my opinion.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] love love your naming style.
Azula [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] and [name_f]Indira[/name_f] [name_f]Coral[/name_f] is genius, I think.

For the sibling name, I agree that Freyja would be a lovely fit, especially combined with middle [name_f]Moon[/name_f].

Other combination possibilities :
[name_f]Elora[/name_f] [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] ([name_f]Elle[/name_f])
[name_f]Malika[/name_f] [name_u]River[/name_u] ([name_u]Mal[/name_u])
[name_f]Yara[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u]

Thanks @gr19 that is my favourite Elowen Combo at the moment!

@jonix I am hoping to stay away from other ocean or herb/flower middles but thanks for the suggestion of Violet. I think Freyja Linnea is too rhyme for me! Thanks too for the feedback re: each individual Freyja combo. So far I am loving Freyja Moon. I think I am ready to eliminate Willow as a MN because I am much more drawn to the other 3 (Moon, Ruby & Cedar).

@xmintex I agree Cedar is the most unisex name so it doesn’t sound as feminine as the other girls. Definitely something to take into consideration. Glad to hear you like Freyja Moon or Ruby.

@halfkoreangirl thanks for the suggestions! I love Luna but my husband doesn’t. Also together with our last name it sounds a little too similar to Lunatic. I don’t want to put our surname on here but it is a tricky one. Silent Hn at the beginning & sounds a little Russian.

@lunarpixie thanks! Yeah process of emilination brought us to the limited options we have here. I am really sad my husband nixed Jade, Lazuli, Venus & Juniper because I feel like I’d have way more fun making combos with more MN options, but I am REALLY happy to be down to 3 FNs because it takes a lot of the pressure off. Glad to hear you like our combos so far

@rabbitmom lol looks like there’ll be no need for a poll with this one. Freyja Moon seems to be the runaway favourite at this point.

Thanks folks! Always happy to get more feedback. Feeling pretty good about our options, almost ready to move on to Boys names! Lol. Just gotta wait for My Lists to be working again first & remember all the names I’ve saved. (and then I’ll probably remember a bunch more girls options & be back on here asking for input!)

We’re moving on to Boys names for a bit now. Thamks everyone! Anyone want to hop over to my manchild thread and help me out? I promise it’ll be a bit more of a challenge than this one was!
