We’re expecting a baby girl in [name_f]September[/name_f] and have hit the wall with names. Siblings are:
[name_u]Elliott[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_f]Norah[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_m]Amos[/name_m] [name_u]Bradley[/name_u]
I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], but husband is concerned about getting constant Friends references.
We like classic names that aren’t overly familiar, with significant meaning either in the name or to us personally.
Middle name will probably be [name_f]Joy[/name_f] or [name_u]June[/name_u], but isn’t set in stone.
I like Phoebe and I think it fits in well with the other siblings. I don’t necessarily think people will think of “Friends” first. It’s a pretty name that’s been around for a while.

Phoebe is so cute! Yes there will probably be friends references but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. I prefer [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f]. Here are some other options with a similar “vibe”

Hi there.
Your kids’ names are fantastic! I think that [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] would be a perfect addition. I wouldn’t worry about Friends. It’s been long enough that people shouldn’t automatically associate that.
A few other ideas-
Audrey
Delia
Eloise
Eliza
Fern
Felicity
Gemma
Greta
Georgia
Hattie
Jane
June
Louise
Louisa
Lila
Marigold
Matilda
Marian
Olive
Pearl
Penelope
Ruth
Rose
Rosalie
Sylvia
Tessa
Violet
Willa
Some of these are a bit on the popular side, but in line w/Norah & [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. [name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

My name is [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] and, despite being born during the broadcasting of [name_u]Friend[/name_u]’s, the only time it is brought up is if someone asks my name, I tell them, and they say, ‘Oh! Like from Friends?’ and that’s it. If it really bothers him, maybe use it as a middle name? Equally, there is always the nickname [name_f]Bee[/name_f], and I’ve gone by [name_m]Tor[/name_m] due to my middle name, so there are quite a few ways round it!

I really like [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]. [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u] is beautiful. I don’t think the Friends reference is a big deal - to me it’s not a negative association, and your children’s peers probably won’t be watching a TV show that was made in the 1990s/early 2000s.
