Hello! I’m desperately looking for a name that suits an empathetic and independent college girl - psychology major. She is feminine, listening to soft indie, soul & pop music but can also be of the cool / hippy type at times, jamming in electronic/dance & rock 'n roll. People around her call her “little freak” (as she’s weird in a good way).

What about [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], [name_u]Arden[/name_u], or [name_f]Lucille[/name_f]?
[name_u]Arden[/name_u] is my favorite of these suggestions. I believe [name_u]Arden[/name_u] fits the description of your character very well, and it means “valley of the eagle”, which i think is cute considering you said she listens to soft/indie music (I’m not sure why I have the connotation of valley of the eagle to indie music haha).
I also like [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] because your character reminds me of the actress [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] [name_u]TAylor[/name_u]. This name could also be short for [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - which I think is slightly more girly than [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], while equally beautiful. When I hear [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] I think of someone who could be considered “hipster” or have hipster-like qualities.
If being feminine is a big personality trait for your character, I feel like [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] would fit them best. I also imagine a [name_f]Lucille[/name_f] listening to soft/indie music and being considered “hipster”. [name_f]Lucille[/name_f], with the nickname [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], brings the image of a girl in a coffee shop with a messy bun to mind.
Of your list, my favorites are [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], [name_f]Esme[/name_f], and [name_u]Auden[/name_u] (which makes me think of [name_u]Arden[/name_u]).
