We are expecting our fifth child in [name_u]January[/name_u]. I am frustrated because when I went for my u/s babe was not in a cooperative position to determine gender. If we have a boy his name will be [name_m]Edward/name_m. But we are completely stuck on a girls name. My list is pretty similar to what it was a couple months ago but none of them stand out as ‘the one’. Sibs are [name_m]John[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_f]Isla[/name_f] & [name_f]Freya[/name_f] (twins). Your thoughts and suggestions are appreciated!
[name_u]Nicola[/name_u]
[name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Elin[/name_f]
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottoline[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]
[name_u]Vesper[/name_u]
[name_f]Coraline[/name_f] (w/ [name_u]Vesper[/name_u] and [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] I am worried about the movie references I don’t want it to seem like I named my kid after a movie character)
I [name_f]ADORE[/name_f] [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] both as a name and especially with your set! Absolutely perfect.
I also like [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] (and it originally was a wonderful book by [name_u]Neil[/name_u] Gaiman, so I don’t think that sharing the name with the character is such a bad thing), but less so with your set than [name_f]Astrid[/name_f].
Hmm…
I love [name_m]Edward[/name_m] ‘[name_m]Ted[/name_m]’ as well as the other sibling names. [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] are such strong, handsome classic that sound brilliant with [name_m]Edward[/name_m]. I also love [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Isla[/name_f] sounds great with [name_f]Freya[/name_f] (despite not being a favourite of mine) she works so well within the sibling set. So in my eyes I understand why your stressed about finding the perfect girl’s name!
My favourites from the list that go with your sibling names are…
[name_f]Greta[/name_f]
[name_f]Astrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]
These are my favourites because your girl names are short and sweet. [name_f]Isla[/name_f] and [name_f]Freya[/name_f] are short, feminine names, and look really pretty, you need to continue with this theme to make the sibling set work. The names above fit the bill perfectly!
