The other name that popped into my head [name_u]Ariel[/name_u]. The trident is like the one from [name_m]Little[/name_m] Mermaid and she had red hair and blue eyes too.
You could call her [name_m]Poseidon[/name_m] (or [name_f]Posy[/name_f] for short) because of the trident. I agree, [name_u]Penny[/name_u] sounds like it would suit her.
