Help naming characers! :D

[name]Hi[/name]! So im writing this story and I need some help with names of characters. There are a few to help with so don’t feel pressured to help with all o them

First of all I have a hybrid teenage werewolf/vampire. Her first name is [name]Jael[/name] but I need a middle name, she is kind of socially awkward and doesn’t tolerate many people, she has an older brother who is human, I am debating over [name]Eddison[/name] ([name]Eddie[/name]) and [name]Alec[/name] for him.

Also my main character! She is the adopted sibling of the above two. She can read minds, predict the future and see others pasts, walk into othes dreams and see ghosts, she is also half demon but doesn’t know at the start. People think she is schizophrenic. Names I like for her are [name]Asha[/name], [name]Eden[/name] and [name]Eydie[/name]. Have no idea for a middle name and still not a hundred percent sure on those names. For all three their last name is [name]Grey[/name]
thanks to anyone/everyone who replies

older brother: i think that instead of [name]Alec[/name], you should use [name]Alef[/name].

adopted sibling: asha, definetly. she sounds kind of tomboyish.

also, how is jael a werewolf/ vampire thingy, and then her older brother is human. are they half siblings?

I’d like to help, I think the adopted girl (your main woman!) should have a name that is not “common” with her siblings. I like [name]Jael[/name] and [name]Eddison[/name] and then I think you should take her to another “level”, and say… [name]Sienna[/name] or [name]Clara[/name]. If you want to use a E or A name, you could also [name]Annie[/name], [name]Ada[/name], [name]Elia[/name] or [name]Esther[/name].
[name]Love[/name] the name [name]Asha[/name] though!

Not personally a fan of [name]Jael[/name]. I do like [name]Alec[/name] for the brother, and I love [name]Asha[/name]! [name]Asha[/name] [name]Grey[/name] is very… wordy though.
I picture her as a thin, very pale girl with black hair. I think if you do go with [name]Asha[/name] that she should have more of a classic name in the middle. Maybe something like [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Rose[/name], etc.

She wasn’t born that way, she was turned into one

I think [name]Eden[/name] works well for your MC, but [name]Eydie[/name] is intriguing. I think I’d go with [name]Alec[/name], [name]Jael[/name], and [name]Eydie[/name] [name]Grey[/name]. Also, what do you think of Ayelet?
Then again, Alec and Eddison both seem kind of mundane compared to your other names. I’d suggest Adriel, Abbot, Elias, or Gideon instead (why yes, I do like Hebrew names. However did you guess?). I also really like happiness_harper1 's suggestion of Aleph/Alef.

Hope that helped!

I like [name]Jael[/name], but spelled as it’s pronounced, [name]Yael[/name] (in Hebrew, J makes a Y sound). I dislike [name]Eddison[/name], so I prefer [name]Alec[/name], but maybe short for something like Aleksander. I also like an above poster’s idea of [name]Alef[/name], to keep with the Hebrew theme, but I’m not sure it goes with last name [name]Grey[/name].
I like [name]Asha[/name] for MC. I dislike reading stories/novels where the main character’s name sounds completely made-up, or “out there,” or in any way modern, when all the other characters’ names are classic, Biblical or well-known. In your case, all your names are pretty different. [name]Yael[/name] is a really old-fashioned Biblical name, [name]Alec[/name] is a modernized classic, and [name]Asha[/name] is used by many Hindus. As for Hebrew names, I like the [name]Ayelet[/name] suggestion (even though it’s modern, while [name]Yael[/name] is old-fashioned…it’s like [name]Mary[/name] and [name]Harper[/name], basically), also consider [name]Delilah[/name], [name]Noa[/name], [name]Adina[/name] nn [name]Adi[/name], [name]Batia[/name], [name]Eliora[/name] nn [name]Lior[/name], [name]Ester[/name], [name]Tamar[/name], Maytal, [name]Miriam[/name] nn [name]Miri[/name], [name]Tzipora[/name], [name]Zohar[/name], [name]Chava[/name], [name]Chaya[/name], [name]Yona[/name], [name]Eliana[/name], etc.

I really like [name_f]Asha[/name_f], but it seems a bit over-the-top with [name_u]Grey[/name_u]. However, I have a solution! (Feel free to disregard said solution.) If she’s adopted, maybe she kept her birth surname? I really love the name [name_f]Asha[/name_f] on her.
