I wouldn’t choose [name_f]Annora[/name_f] because [name_f]Ansley[/name_f]'s name might get shortened to “An” among her peers, and so might [name_f]Annora[/name_f]'s.
I love [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u]! It’s perfect!
A distant second is…
Blakelyn [name_f]Briar[/name_f]
I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] best from your list. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is my favorite name of yours, but I don’t like [name_u]Royal[/name_u]. It’s masculine and overly wordy to me. What about [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Raina[/name_f]/[name_f]Reina[/name_f], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u], or [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f]/[name_f]Roxanna[/name_f]?
I feel like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is becoming to popular. Therefore, I like [name_f]Annora[/name_f]. I also like to shorten names. We call our daughter, [name_f]Ansley[/name_f], “Ans”.
[name_f]Annora[/name_f] is a bit too close to [name_f]Ansley[/name_f] for me. Maybe [name_f]Annika[/name_f]? [name_f]Adara[/name_f]? [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]? Unless you use [name_f]Nora[/name_f] for a nickname ([name_f]Ann[/name_f] and Ans would be super confusing [name_f]IMO[/name_f])?
My favourite of your options is [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u], but I think [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] would fit better with the sibling names. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Rochelle[/name_f] would be a second for me, I think a feminine R name in the middle would make a beautiful combo- [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Rhea[/name_f], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_f]Raina[/name_f], etc.
I like pp suggestion of flipping [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_f]Annora[/name_f]/[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]. That flows really well. Blakelyn [name_f]Briar[/name_f] is beautiful as well. Good luck!
What about [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]? You could call her [name_f]Lia[/name_f]. [name_m]Holden[/name_m], [name_f]Ansley[/name_f], Hessen, and [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f]. [name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_u]August[/name_u] would be very nice.
Other suggestions
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Amalia[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexandra[/name_f]
[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f]
[name_f]Auden[/name_f]
I was going to suggest [name_f]Annaliese[/name_f], but it struck me that it has the same beginning as [name_f]Ansley[/name_f]. By the way, is that pronouced as written, or like [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]
I think I would go with another A name if you don’t expect to have more children. If you think you may have more, you may want to use a different name. I really like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] Auguest from your list. I prefer [name_u]Blakely[/name_u] to Blakelyn. [name_u]Blakely[/name_u] [name_f]Briar[/name_f] is lovely.
[name_f]Ansley[/name_f] is pronounced as written. It is a small town in our State, and less popular than the name [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u]. Though, she does get called [name_u]Ainsley[/name_u] a lot! We shorten her name to Ans often. If we went with [name_f]Annora[/name_f] I would probably shorten it to [name_f]Nora[/name_f] or Nory…[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] is becoming to popular for me, but I love the nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u]…
Still very stuck on a name. I do love the name [name_u]August[/name_u] for a girl, but I am scared there is no good nn to go with it. If I went with [name_u]August[/name_u], I would for sure use [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] as the the middle name.
Why is naming children so hard! I am also worried that if I don’t use an A name she will feel left out. (Clearly thinking about this to much!!)
