HELP, only a few days to go

Our last name is a short name that rhymes with [name_m]Fox[/name_m]. Our other 3 children are [name_m]William[/name_m], [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. We are having a boy in a few days and are stumped at last minute. We would like to use family name so will either be:

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] = “[name_u]James[/name_u]”
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] = “[name_m]Ford[/name_m]”
[name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] = “[name_m]Ford[/name_m]”
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Bradford[/name_m] = “[name_m]Ford[/name_m]”

All of the above are family names. Opinions please!

[name_f]My[/name_f] fav by far is [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m]! Congrats!

Is [name_m]Ford[/name_m] not an option for a first? As you plan to call him either [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Ford[/name_m] --[name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]?

I really like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u].

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] would be my choice.

If you want to call him [name_m]Ford[/name_m], why not just call him [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]/[name_m]Bradford[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]?

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] or [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Bradford[/name_m] – but using [name_u]James[/name_u] instead of [name_m]Ford[/name_m]. Much more handsome and goes beautifully with your other kids’ names.

I have a soft spot for [name_m]Robert[/name_m], which is my brother’s name and my son [name_m]Andrew[/name_m]'s middle, but I’d use [name_m]Rob[/name_m] instead of [name_m]Ford[/name_m] for a nickname with that combo, too.

I like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m]

I prefer [name_m]Ford[/name_m] as a first name:

[name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] is handsome.

I am with those that like [name_m]Ford[/name_m] as a first name. I love ashleyjuliette’s suggestion of [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] ([name_u]Jameson[/name_u] would still honor a [name_u]James[/name_u]). [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u] is very handsome.

I adore, adore, adore [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u]! It’s my top choice of your four names. But if you really, really want a little [name_m]Ford[/name_m], why not put it in first place? I like the suggestion of [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u].

I agree with above response, if [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is an option go with that! If not I like [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m].

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] flows the best and I like [name_u]James[/name_u] with your older children’s names.

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Bradford[/name_m] is my favorite. Very dashing.

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] is my choice. [name_u]James[/name_u] goes beautifully with your other kids.

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_u]Spencer[/name_u] is perfect with your other kids names! I don’t like using [name_m]Ford[/name_m] as the given name.

[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m]. I love this!!

But I also agree with all the suggestions that [name_m]Ford[/name_m] as a first name would be excellent too! I love the recommendation of [name_m]Ford[/name_m] [name_u]Jameson[/name_u]!!

[name_f]DO[/name_f] NOT USE [name_m]ROBERT[/name_m] [name_m]FORD[/name_m]! Google [name_m]Rob[/name_m] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] - mayor of Toronto. He is currently the mayor of Toronto and there has been a lot of controversy going on in the media. He is not someone you want to name your kid after. I’m surprised no one else noticed that combo.

If you like [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Ford[/name_m], why not name him [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Ford[/name_m] and time will tell which nickname to use. [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Bradford[/name_m] sounds better.
