Help & opinions on baby name list

Well I thought I had it all figured out, but I don’t lol I was FOR SURE on my girl name until now. I had decided on [name]Harper[/name] [name]Abigail[/name]…which by the way, I still [name]LOVE[/name], however I’m worried about it not sounding right with my last name ([name]Reid[/name]). Other options for girls are:

Boys, now that’s been a struggle since day one! I had picked out [name]Maddox[/name], but a friend of mine just named her son that. :frowning: So, here is my very short list:
Most likely the middle name will be [name]John[/name] for the boy no matter what as its my father’s first name.

Any suggestions or opinions are welcome, just don’t call me crazy for my name selection. lol

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name] - I think this has nice flow although I don’t like [name]Harper[/name] personally. The only issue I see is the r sounds next to each other in [name]Harper[/name] [name]Reid[/name]…
[name]Emerson[/name] - is a boys name…
[name]Sophie[/name] - love it!
[name]Annika[/name] - um not sure is ok
[name]Adrianne[/name] - don’t like

[name]Sophie[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name]. [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Reid[/name] - such a lovely name!

Other ideas you may like:
[name]Chloe[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Rachel[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Holly[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Sadie[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name]

[name]Madden[/name] - sounds too much like a reference to mad! think he will be teased…
[name]Campbell[/name] - is a surname to me and a brand of soup!
Kohen - is ok
[name]Nolan[/name] - my fav of your names but honestly not a fan of them - they are a very different style to that which i like.

What about using [name]Jonathan[/name] to honour [name]John[/name]? [name]Jonathan[/name] [name]Nolan[/name] [name]Reid[/name] is very handsome

Other ideas:
[name]Rowan[/name] [name]John[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
Merrick [name]John[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Max[/name] [name]Jonathan[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Nathan[/name] [name]John[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Reece[/name] [name]Jonathan[/name] [name]Reid[/name]
[name]Maxwell[/name] [name]John[/name] [name]Reid[/name]

[name]Do[/name] you think [name]Harper[/name] [name]Reid[/name] will run together too much?

As for using [name]Jonathan[/name] instead of [name]John[/name]…I’m not a fan. My dad’s name was actually [name]Johnny[/name], but was always called [name]John[/name], which I prefer over [name]Johnny[/name]. So that’s pretty much certain. I don’t mind the nickname Mad for [name]Madden[/name]. I just have a really hard time finding boy names that click with me. I do however [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Nathan[/name], nickname [name]Nate[/name], but my last boyfriend’s name is [name]Nathan[/name] and we are still close so, I’d rather not go there.

I can’t really comment on the [name]Harper[/name] [name]Reid[/name] running together issue because I really don’t like the name so it just sounds wrong to name a person that to me - sorry. If you really love it then the flow isn’t a big issue at all. I just love the sound of [name]Sophie[/name] [name]Reid[/name]!

other ideas-

First off let me say that I think [name]Harper[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name] sounds lovely together. [name]Harper[/name] [name]Reid[/name] is fine to me and I am usually bothered by matching or running on names.

[name]Emerson[/name] - I greatly dislike ‘son’ names on girls.
[name]Sophie[/name] - I like this name (like [name]Sophia[/name] more) but it is so popular. [name]Harper[/name] is better.
[name]Annika[/name] - I love this name! I have heard it pronounced as [name]Ann[/name]-ika and Awn-ika. I think Awn-ika [name]Reid[/name] sounds great!
[name]Adrianne[/name] - This name seems very 80’s to me.

[name]Madden[/name] - Football? I don’t think [name]Madden[/name] [name]Reid[/name] sounds great.
[name]Campbell[/name] - Ditto this, not a great match with [name]Reid[/name].
Kohen - I like this with [name]Reid[/name] but I like the spelling [name]Cohen[/name] better.
[name]Nolan[/name] - I love this name with [name]Reid[/name]!

[name]Harper[/name] [name]Reed[/name] does run together a bit for me.
[name]Annika[/name] [name]Reed[/name] sounds perfect!!! [name]Annika[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] would be lovely.
For boys, I think [name]Nolan[/name] [name]Reed[/name] is your best bet.

I have a cousin, [name]Nolan[/name] [name]Everett[/name]. Gorgeous name, he is 13 now and [name]Nolan[/name] is becoming more & more popular.

Well I just found out today that its a GIRL!! yay!! So, no more worrying about boy names, thank goodness!

I’m still really leaning towards [name]Harper[/name], although [name]Annika[/name] is growing on me.

I think that [name]Harper[/name] [name]Abigail[/name] [name]Reid[/name] is lovely! [name]Harper[/name] is one of my favorite girl names!

i’m loving all your names. [name]Harper[/name] is a great one but [name]Annika[/name] is one of my top favs. I like [name]Emerson[/name] for a girl and sophie reid sounds nice together but [name]Annika[/name] is my vote. Congrats on your little girl!
