HELP! Our little boy will be here soon

We have a little boy [name]Owen[/name] [name]Ramsey[/name], and are expecting our second boy in a couple of weeks but can’t decide on a name!! [name]Don[/name]‘t want something too popular (although, unfortunately those are most of my favorites) or too made-up sounding. Below are some of the ones we’re thinking about, but we’d love some feedback - it’s such a tough decision!!! Our last name sounds like ‘[name]Paul[/name]’. We’d like to incorporate either [name]Alexander[/name] or [name]William[/name], as they are my grandfathers’ names.

[name]Emmett[/name] [name]William[/name]
[name]Grady[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]Alec[/name] [name]William[/name] - would probably have [name]Alexander[/name] as the first name, [name]Alec[/name] as the nn
[name]Andrew[/name] [name]William[/name]

My favorite is [name]Emmett[/name] [name]William[/name], with your [name]Owen[/name]. [name]Owen[/name] and [name]Emmett[/name] just sound good together =) [name]Grady[/name] is too strange, and unfortunately [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Andrew[/name] are very popular. Good luck

With [name]Owen[/name], I think [name]Grady[/name] fits the best, but I can also see [name]Emmett[/name] with [name]Owen[/name].

Good luck!

I love [name]Andrew[/name] so much, but it has been really popular for many years.
The Scandinavian [name]Anders[/name] is a great alternative to [name]Andrew[/name] and sounds handsome with [name]Owen[/name].
Also love [name]Alexander[/name] nn [name]Zander[/name].
Also love the Hungarian [name]Sandor[/name] ([name]SHAN[/name]-dor).
[name]Don[/name]'t love [name]Alec[/name] as much as [name]Alex[/name] because I always think of smart alec when I hear the name [name]Alec[/name]. Sorry!

[name]Grady[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] is my favorite with [name]Owen[/name] [name]Ramsey[/name]!
I love [name]Owen[/name]'s fn/mn combo by the way!

I love [name]Emmet[/name] and [name]Owen[/name]! These names go really well together. I don’t like [name]Grady[/name]. I also like [name]Andrew[/name] for the nickname [name]Drew[/name], which I think sounds really cute with [name]Owen[/name].

[name]Grady[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Grady[/name], so cute and handsome!
[name]Alec[/name] [name]William[/name] (would probably have [name]Alexander[/name] as the first name, [name]Alec[/name] as the nn) - this is my favorite! [name]Alec[/name] and [name]Owen[/name] sound perfect together! Great name choices! GL!

I say [name]Emmett[/name] [name]William[/name]/[name]Alexander[/name] - either grandfather’s names would fit… but I definately love [name]Emmett[/name], there aren’t a ton of nickname options but in my opinion thats ok!

I really love [name]Emmett[/name] very much, or [name]Grady[/name]!

[name]Grady[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]!

Something different

[name]Harold[/name] [name]William[/name] nn [name]Harry[/name]

[name]Harry[/name] and [name]Owen[/name]

Thanks, everybody, for the feedback!

My cousin just named her baby boy [name]Davin[/name]. [name]Kinda[/name] cute… like [name]Gavin[/name] but not. She made it up, I think. But it seems like it would work well with your names…

[name]Davin[/name] [name]Alexander[/name]
[name]William[/name] [name]Davin[/name]

What do you think?

[name]Davin[/name] is not a new name it is derived from the Hebrew name [name]David[/name] and the Welsh name Davyn and it means ‘beloved’.

Cool. Thanks for telling me.

[name]How[/name] about [name]Graham[/name]?
It sort of has some of the playfulness of [name]Grady[/name] and some of the seriousness of [name]Emmet[/name] and yet is somehow more distinct and interesting than either, plus I think [name]Owen[/name] and [name]Graham[/name] sound wonderful together!

[name]Graham[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Paul[/name] has great flow and would be my choice (though it may bother you that [name]Graham[/name] [name]Alexander[/name] is a reverse of [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Graham[/name] as in [name]Alexander[/name] [name]Graham[/name] [name]Bell[/name] - to me, I don’t think this is an issue since it’s a fairly subtle connection and it’s not like there’s anything negative about the association anyway).

I like [name]Grady[/name] best too. It’s fresh, new and goes with [name]Owen[/name].
