[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! I’m due in 2.5 weeks and we still haven’t decided on a name. Well, we kind of did, but now I feel like our boys name is too common and don’t know what to do! We don’t know if we are having a boy or girl.
For a girl, we have the name [name_f]Willa[/name_f] picked out. Still haven’t decided on middle name. Last name starts with W too.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (my favorite as [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a family name but doesn’t quite roll off the tongue)

For a boy, we have the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] picked out. My husbands name is [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]. We also like the name [name_u]Lou[/name_u] for a boy-but kind of got set on [name_u]Jude[/name_u] prior to thinking it may be too common. What do you think?

I don’t think [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is too common. I haven’t heard it around and don’t know any Judes. I like [name_u]Lou[/name_u] too but prefer it as a nickname for [name_m]Louis[/name_m].
For [name_f]Willa[/name_f] do you like [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] or [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Bess[/name_f]? I agree the flow with [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] isn’t perfect, but it’s fine if you love it. I would drop [name_u]Lynn[/name_u] as I find that hard to say. Maybe [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as an honor name for Dad? I like the flow better than [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] or [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] (too many Ls).
I agree, I don’t think [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is as popular as you imagine, but the name [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is raising.
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is lovely, I think it flows nice.

I actually don’t think that [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is too popular at all! I love the name [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] - so I would’t worry there.
For [name_f]Willa[/name_f], which I love btw, maybe give these a think?
I like [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] but I have to say, W names are sort of unusual, and I think if your last name is W too, having three W’s for the initials could be pretty sweet! Here’s what I could come up with:

i think we will stick with [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]! it is probably one of those things where I have noticed [name_f]EVERY[/name_f] person named [name_u]Jude[/name_u] since I like the name…kind of like when you want a new car, then you seem to see that vehicle everywhere!
i also agree…[name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] is nice. I also like the idea of a middle name with a W. Or just sticking with [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. Still trying to decide Feeling READY for baby!

[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] sounds great to me, and my vote for [name_f]Willa[/name_f] would be [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] since it flows so beautifully, and you’ll get to honor [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] regardless of gender.
I really like [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Joseph[/name_m]! [name_u]Jude[/name_u] is not too common at all. And I quite like [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] as well. I suppose just plain [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f]Beth[/name_f] would flow better, but it would give her fewer options if she chose to go by her middle name. Especially since [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a family name, I recommend sticking with your current picks. Good job, best wishes.
