No agreement on names over here. I’ve swung to more classic and DH is swinging more unusual or at least vintage-y. Last name is a 2-syllable “lowe” ending.
Any strong thoughts or similar suggestions based on:
[name_f]Rose[/name_f] ([name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] prob binned b/c we’re not American and say it in a less than pretty way, imo, Rosemree)
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (though I’m not sure I can say this very easily)
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]
[name_f]Imogen[/name_f]
[name_f]Chloe[/name_f] (k, this lovely name least likely to get up as he sees s too passive)
It’s coming down to [name_f]Rose[/name_f] (or spinoff) v [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], it seems, though not helped by sis saying [name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] a pet’s name and mum saying she disliked [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]. Can live with this of course and happens all the time, but not a help!
I’m accepting that just going to absurdly pick something in end without that romantic certainty…
I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Josie[/name_u] or [name_u]JoJo[/name_u])! With Nn possibilities it seems like a good compromise between [name_f]Rose[/name_f] variations & [name_f]Harriet[/name_f]/unisex names. My husband has similar, shall we say “varied” taste!! For our son his favorites ranged from [name_m]Colin[/name_m] to [name_u]Sage[/name_u] to [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] to [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]!! Lol
I agree with maurab, my vote goes to [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. Or you could do as laure and combine them. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] etc.
After reading this I thought
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] <3 so pretty, everything is sort of there and honestly I would use this myself, good luck and remember sometimes the thing that makes the name is the child. Like it’s from no where or isn’t anything to anyone maybe but when it’s given to the child that name is the child and then it’s perfect because it’s her name. Maybe in 30 years she wants to share part of it with her own daughter or her best friend names her baby after her and the name has a beautiful life and is perfectly romantic <3
