[name_m]Hi[/name_m], so I am having a bit of an inner crisis on my baby’s name and my little girls birth in only a couple months away (I like to be prepared!). My husband loves the name [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], which I have now fallen in love with. No issues there!
So here’s my dilemma… The issue is the middle name. I am using “I,” naming after a family member who has passed. Originally I thought I liked [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Ilyse[/name_f], but then felt it was a bit frilly and girly for my liking. Next, I liked [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]. I actually still [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] the name, but because of reasons not worth getting into I cannot use. So, now I am considering [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]. I like two syllable middle names. Would love to hear thoughts. Please be kind and appreciate any feedback. Thank you!
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is lovely. [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], sorry to say, actually sounds clunky, which should be hard to do with such a short middle, but it does. If you’re still looking for other middles, here are some suggestions:

I know most are not two syllable, but I actually think a longer middle goes better with [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].

I think [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] is a stunning choice! Not too popular, not too out there. Pretty and feminine without being frilly. [name_m]Just[/name_m] beautiful.
