I’m a bit bored with my list and am lacking in the inspiration department, so help a girl out? I like a name with a good balance between unusual and familiar, gender specific (99% of the time), and the ability grow with an adult. Names I am drawn to seem a bit light and fun, but can still be taken seriously (when needed). I find it highly unlikely that any future kiddos will be nickname-less, so let me know if there’s a NN you prefer!
Here are names I like (some that are currently on my list, some I like but am unable to use for various reasons):
From you current list, I think [name_f]Sadie[/name_f], [name_f]Thea[/name_f] and [name_f]Zara[/name_f] are the only ones that fit all of your criteria.
Tons of those names are on my favorites list, and some others I love are:
[name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Cambria[/name_f] (nn. [name_f]Cami[/name_f])
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (nn. [name_f]Nellie[/name_f])
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] (nn. [name_f]Elle[/name_f])
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f] (nn. [name_f]Indie[/name_f])
[name_f]Isla[/name_f]
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Livia[/name_f] (nn. [name_f]Liv[/name_f])
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
[name_f]Mairi[/name_f] ([name_f]MAR[/name_f]-ee, nn. [name_u]Ari[/name_u])
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
[name_f]Nessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] (nn. [name_u]Scout[/name_u])
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_u]Waverly[/name_u]
[name_u]Wren[/name_u]
And some that haven’t quite made the official list are [name_f]Astoria[/name_f], [name_u]Brighton[/name_u], [name_f]Celestia[/name_f], [name_f]Greta[/name_f], [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_f]Mira[/name_f], [name_f]Perrie[/name_f], and [name_u]Ruby[/name_u].
@waihan Really liking [name_f]Briar[/name_f] & [name_f]Amara[/name_f]. Makes me think of another name I’ve liked but forgotten: [name_u]Blair[/name_u]. [name_f]Camille[/name_f] is my middle name and [name_f]Norah[/name_f] is an old #1. You really get my style. Thanks for the suggestions!
@violet1296 Always loved [name_u]Waverly[/name_u] but not sure how usable is for me. However, [name_f]Astoria[/name_f] (nn: [name_u]Story[/name_u]), [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] (nn: [name_f]Lola[/name_f]) and [name_f]Esme[/name_f] (nn: [name_f]Essie[/name_f]) are so great!
@luneth [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] [name_m]JUST[/name_m] recently left my list as it’s a bit too close for me to my one-week-old niece’s name: [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. Sad the name is now on my GP list but it’s a fair trade I also [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Thalia[/name_f]…but have a little cousin named [name_f]Natalia[/name_f]…and [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]…and [name_f]Mila[/name_f]. I have some great namers in the family. Must be genetic or something
@neeeea [name_f]Fiona[/name_f]. Yes. Forgot about this name because it didn’t have an intuitive nickname I liked (unfortunately [name_u]Fee[/name_u]/[name_f]Fifi[/name_f] reminds me of a dog so that’s a no go). NN suggestions? Not sure about [name_f]Neva[/name_f], but I think I [name_f]DO[/name_f] like [name_f]Neve[/name_f] (pronounced the Irish way/[name_f]Niamh[/name_f]). Hmm…
Thank you all! This is exactly what I was looking for!
