So I love the names [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m], so I was thinking about naming my baby [name_u]Brady[/name_u] [name_u]Everett[/name_u] and calling him [name_m]Rhett[/name_m], but I just don’t like [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. Does anyone have any suggestions that incorporates both [name_u]Brady[/name_u] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]? [name_u]Brady[/name_u] [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] just doesn’t sound right. I thought about combing the names, [name_u]Brett[/name_u], and calling him [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] but I just don’t like it. I thought about naming him [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] with a 1 syllable name in between but can’t think of one that sounds good. Our last name is [name_u]Conn[/name_u]! Thanks!
I think [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] [name_u]Conn[/name_u] sounds perfectly fine! But maybe you could consider [name_m]Garrett[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] or [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] [name_u]Brady[/name_u]? I personally prefer [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] on it’s own rather than a nickname… But, I personally wouldn’t call him by a nickname for a middle name, as it will cause lots of confusion.
Are you sure you wouldn’t want to consider saving [name_u]Brady[/name_u] as a first name if you were to have another boy? [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] & [name_u]Brady[/name_u] make great brothers! Since you seem to love [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] more, I would focus on making it work rather than forcing two names you don’t seem to love the flow of… especially since middle names are practically never used anyways.
I agree with pp that [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] sounds fine!!
Some other names that could have the nn [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]/Rett if you prefer a fuller could be:
[name_m]Robert[/name_m]
[name_m]Jarrett[/name_m]
[name_m]Bretton[/name_m]
[name_m]Rupert[/name_m]
[name_m]Rafferty[/name_m]
[name_u]Remington[/name_u]
Some are obviously a bit more of a stretch than others
I absolutely love the name [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]. I also think the name is fine on it’s own. I do agree that [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] and [name_u]Brady[/name_u] do pair nicely if you wanted to save [name_u]Brady[/name_u] for a future sibling.
Nonetheless, [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_u]Brady[/name_u] is a very nice choice!
