We seriously cannot find a name we love! We were happy with [name_m]Jack[/name_m], until someone pointed out the titanic thing with sister [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. My husband like [name_u]James[/name_u] but only if we call him [name_m]Jim[/name_m], and I can’t do that. I like [name_m]Luke[/name_m], [name_u]Max[/name_u] and [name_m]Zach[/name_m], but my husband doesnt. The other name we loved was [name_m]Cliff[/name_m], but that seems too matchy with sister [name_f]Clara[/name_f]! Other names we’ve considered:
[name_m]Hans[/name_m]
[name_m]Conrad[/name_m]
[name_m]Patrick[/name_m] (my husbands name)
[name_u]Dean[/name_u] (can’t use because of our last name)
I like [name_m]Hans[/name_m], [name_m]Conrad[/name_m], and [name_m]Patrick[/name_m]! [name_m]Hans[/name_m] is a bit more obscure compared to your girls’ names however. [name_m]Patrick[/name_m] would fit in great. [name_m]Conrad[/name_m] is pretty interesting though it feels more out of place imo.
If you love [name_m]Jack[/name_m], I suggest you still use it. The connection to The Titanic didn’t register with me until you mentioned it although maybe others have a different perception, but by the time your [name_m]Jack[/name_m] is school-age, I don’t think people will think of that.
[name_m]Aaron[/name_m] is quite popular but always a strong choice i think. [name_m]Lemuel[/name_m] is a nice alternative to samuel which is wildly overused. [name_m]Hector[/name_m] is a name i really like. [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] also good.
[name_m]Horatio[/name_m] is a less used name I think has promise
[name_m]Felix[/name_m] is another less common but classic name.
[name_u]Asa[/name_u] is nice because the nickname is [name_m]Ace[/name_m].
[name_m]Abel[/name_m] is growing in popularity…a nice Biblical choice.
Old timey classics due for revival include [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u] and [name_m]Floyd[/name_m].
I love [name_u]Max[/name_u] with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. Since that won’t work, what about another classic name–[name_m]Charles[/name_m] ([name_u]Charlie[/name_u]) or [name_m]Henry[/name_m]?
I immediately thought [name_m]Henry[/name_m] with [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f]–what about a [name_m]Henry[/name_m] called [name_m]Hank[/name_m], or just [name_m]Hank[/name_m]?
I would use [name_m]Jack[/name_m]! It’s an amazing classic name. Besides that, your kids names will be [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m] not just [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]Jack[/name_m]. I would have never remembered of Titanic, but that’s not an awful association, in my opinion. Those names are beautiful and timeless. [name_f]Every[/name_f] name has an association. [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] & [name_m]Jack[/name_m] create a perfect set!
If you really don’t want to consider [name_m]Jack[/name_m] anymore, the previous posters made many spectacular suggestion. From your list, my favorite is [name_m]Conrad[/name_m]. I really like [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] &…
