Here’s my long list. Help me narrow it down and make a short list before my baby comes. Which are your favorite names and why? Any good first/middle name combos? What would you say my name “aesthetic” is? Any names to add? Sorry if there’s any repeats, I just copied from my notes app. I add a name whenever I hear one and think it’s pretty. I want a name that’s recognizable but not common. I want it to be feminine and beautiful… but I also like unisex names. If the first name is unisex I want a feminine middle. Last name is 2 syllables. I like one syllable middle names. But I’m really open to any ideas or recommendations
Here are my top half of your list that I would keep paired up as combos:
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] [name_f]Sapphira[/name_f]
[name_f]Yara[/name_f] [name_f]Simone[/name_f]
[name_f]Angelina[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] [name_f]Araminta[/name_f]
[name_f]Zelda[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f]

[name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Odette[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] [name_f]Samara[/name_f]

[name_f]Skye[/name_f] [name_f]Halina[/name_f]
[name_f]Selma[/name_f] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
The ones I’ll give an elevator pitch for are: [name_f]Annie[/name_f]: so fun, sassy, sweet! One of my personal faves. You could also go with [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f], [name_f]Annabell[/name_f], [name_f]Angelina[/name_f], or [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] as a full name and get a two in one! [name_f]Simone[/name_f]: I feel like I rarely see this on peoples’ lists but its such a great name! Sleek and elegant with a sharp edginess. Very cool-girl energy to me. [name_f]Zelda[/name_f]: I love the vintage, quirky, Old Hollywood, 1920’s flair and the cool Z sound. Familiar and easy to say and spell but not common.
But I love so many of your names! You have a great list.

[name_m]Golden[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucky[/name_m]
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f]
[name_f]India[/name_f]
Wilella
[name_f]Wilda[/name_f]
[name_f]Tatum[/name_f]
[name_f]Delta[/name_f] - makes me think of the airline
[name_m]Mars[/name_m]
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f]
The names I really like:
[name_f]Ruby[/name_f] - Cute, spunky, on-trend but with some quirky vintage charm!
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f] - Delicate and intriguing
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] - Fairy-like but usable with its cool nicknames like [name_m]Ari[/name_m]
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] - Really a beautiful sound and imagery, and that -er ending adds some edge to it!
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] - One of my favourites, it’s timeless, effortlessly elegant and brings to mind nature!
[name_f]Nala[/name_f] - [name_f]Beautiful[/name_f] in its simplicity and very sweet-sounding
[name_f]Maxine[/name_f] - Definitely a name ready for a revival, I love how cool nn [name_m]Max[/name_m] feels on a girl
[name_f]Wilda[/name_f] - Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I find it really fun and whimsical
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] - A really underrated flower name that feels so elegant and chic!
[name_f]Opal[/name_f] - This name is really easy to spell and pronounce, but so striking with its cool O- beginning – like a more unexpected, more fun [name_f]Olivia[/name_f]
[name_f]Willow[/name_f] - I think the cosy, autumnal vibe of [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is just wonderful
[name_f]June[/name_f] - Again, short but full of personality and charm!
[name_f]Annie[/name_f] - Such a sweet, vintage name, it has a really cute and friendly vibe
[name_f]Fauna[/name_f] - A fresh take on the -onna names with an almost fairy-like sound, love!
[name_f]Etta[/name_f] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] absolutely darling, easy to spell and pronounce with a great vintage vibe
[name_f]Juniper[/name_f] - [name_f]Sunny[/name_f], on-trend and fun!
[name_f]Halina[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] how international this sounds, and the cute nicknames that come with it
[name_f]Annabell[/name_f] - I really like this spelling! The name looks beautiful and timeless
[name_f]Camilla[/name_f] - [name_m]An[/name_m] attractive, multicultural classic – and I love [name_f]Millie[/name_f] too!
Names I’m not as much of a fan of:
[name_f]Nova[/name_f] - Definitely a cool sound, but I feel like it will be considered dated 10-20 years from now because of its very sudden and very intense popularity. Maybe [name_f]Nola[/name_f], [name_f]Nora[/name_f], [name_f]Lova[/name_f] or [name_f]Ziva[/name_f] instead?
[name_m]Lucky[/name_m] - To be honest, it feels like a dog name to me and I can’t imagine it on a person very well
[name_f]Tatum[/name_f] - [name_m]Just[/name_m] not for me, it feels quite masculine and doesn’t have any cute nicknames
[name_m]Dylan[/name_m] - Same as above – I like kind of unisex names or more masculine names on girls, like [name_f]Marley[/name_f], [name_m]Finley[/name_m], [name_f]Jamie[/name_f], [name_m]Jude[/name_m], etc. but this one just feels very very masculine to me
[name_m]Golden[/name_m] - Too descriptive for me to really see it as a name. I like [name_f]Goldie[/name_f] more, or even better [name_f]Marigold[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Goldie[/name_f]
[name_f]India[/name_f] - I know this one isn’t unheard of but I do find it weird tbh, especially if you don’t have any ties to the country
[name_m]Mars[/name_m] - I don’t really like the idea of genderbending the names of religious figures
Wilella - It feels a bit overly elaborate to me, I like just-Willa more
[name_f]Halle[/name_f] - [name_f]Love[/name_f] the sound, much prefer the more intuitive [name_f]Hallie[/name_f] spelling
[name_f]Skyler[/name_f] - Feels quite dated to the 2000’s to me
[name_f]Xena[/name_f] - Not a fan of the sound or look of the X - maybe you’d like [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f], which is a floral name?
[name_f]Love[/name_f] and appreciate your thoughts and input! [name_f]My[/name_f] only argument is [name_f]Tatum[/name_f] does has a cute nickname (imo). lol I would call my baby Tater Tot almost exclusively if I named her this But as for an older child nn… maybe [name_m]Tate[/name_m]? Seems masculine though
