Help - Should I Test Again?

My husband and I had unprotected intercourse during one of my fertile days last month. My period was almost a week late, and I thought I might be pregnant. I took a few tests, and saw a very VERY faint line that I thought might be an evap line. But then I got what I thought was my period. However it has been abnormal. It never got very heavy, then I think it stops, and it starts again! It seemed a but heavier than what I would call spotting thought. It finally seems to be gone completely, about 7 or 8 days after the start of my period. But I am still getting some cramping on and off. Usually cramping goes away a day or two after my period starts. My legs hurt, and I’ve been nauseous all morning. Does this sound like implantation bleeding? And should I test again? Thanks!

I have no experience in this area, but if you are having doubts I would definitely consult your doctor.

If you are pregnant, the very faint line should have gotten darker by now. Any line at all is a positive, but if I remember right, yours was a white line or something a little odd?

What I had I’m not even sure you could call implantation bleeding, I noticed a tiny bit of spotting maybe a week later and then never again. The period-like cramping started around the same time and didn’t go away for several weeks.

If you’re questioning, why not take another test…I’d say if you see the same white line or less of a line than before, you’re probably not pregnant.

Agree with everyone above. If you had a very faint positive followed by an unusually heavy period and some cramping, it might be sad news.

If I were you, I would go get a blood test done. They’re usually 20-30 dollars at women’s clinics or Planned Parenthood. If you were pregnant, the line on the tests would have gotten consistently darker. My cycles are very regular, almost like clockwork, but they do vary slightly. [name]One[/name] month it will be very light and only last 2-3 days and the next it will be heavier and last 5 days. I always get cramps 1-2 days before my period starts and light cramping the day it starts, but when I was pregnant I had zero cramps. Not even a twinge. I know it’s different for everyone though, that’s just my personal experiences. So maybe you are just having a wacky cycle this month.

Interesting! Well,I haven’t done a test since a few days before I got my ‘period’. It was not heavy at all. It lasted longer than it usually does, but it was really weird. I had a little bit of light bleeding, then it stopped after 2 days. then some more spotting, then it stopped, then a bit more. now it is gone completely and I’m left with nausea every morning, waking up to pee in the middle of the night, cramps off and on, and leg aches. I know it is probably jsut an abnormal month, but it still leaves a little room for concern about still being pregnant… and id rather be safe than sorry!
