[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone!
Looking for the perfect sibset… current children are [name_f]Aislinn[/name_f] & [name_u]Owen[/name_u]. Each child has 2 middle names and 2 syllable last name starting with N, ending in Y. My problem is that all of the boy names I like end in N (too much similarity with the other 2?). I’m open to your opinions on any preferences and patterns you like in sibsets, particularly mine. A few names on my short list are [name_f]Lena[/name_f] for a girl and [name_u]Tobin[/name_u], Evren & [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] for boys. Again, any name suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks Berries
I’ve never heard Evren before but I really like it. That said, Evren is very similar to [name_u]Owen[/name_u] and it may get confusing. [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] I like because it doesn’t start with a vowel like the other two and [name_u]Toby[/name_u] is a great nn. I actually quite like a bit of a pattern or connection in sibsets, so three names all ending in N is fine in my opinion as long as the names aren’t too matchy. [name_f]Lena[/name_f] is pretty and fits in with the two syllable theme you have going. I’m not a huge fan of [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] but it does go well with [name_u]Owen[/name_u].
[name_f]Brynn[/name_f] - still ends in N but only one syllable which breaks up the pattern a bit
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] or [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] - 2 syllables and fits the Celtic theme
[name_m]Asher[/name_m] - it’s an old name that has a modern feel like the other two
Thanks for the insight and good catch on the celtic thing…i forgot to mention it! It’s not a necessary requirement, but i wouldn’t mind. I seem to prefer more than 1 syllable in a name and I do really like [name_m]Asher[/name_m]. Definitely will be considering your opinions!
