From your list I like [name_u]Blake[/name_u], [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].

I don’t think [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] is too ordinary, it goes well with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]… but I can understand your hesitation. Have you considered [name_m]Donovan[/name_m]?

If you like [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], maybe consider [name_m]Harris[/name_m] as a full name?

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] - I’m guessing you feel this is ordinary? It’s in the top 40, but I don’t find it particularly ordinary. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] sound great together. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would be my choice.

[name_m]Lewis[/name_m] - too unusual? I don’t think so. I knew one growing up and I love the connection to C.S. [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]. Doesn’t match as well with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] imo. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]… [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] both work.

[name_m]Liam[/name_m] - I’m going to say this is too ordinary. It is #1 name for boys, so unless you want his name to be common, I’d steer clear. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] sound alright together, but I don’t think they quite fit. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_m]Liam[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] both work.

[name_u]Jude[/name_u] - I think this is in the sweet spot of known but not too unusual. It is in the top 200 which means it won’t be everywhere but it is heard of. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] work, I think, but something to note is that [name_u]Jude[/name_u] comes from [name_m]Judah[/name_m] which is biblical. If you potentially have a problem with [name_u]Noah[/name_u] because of religion, you might have a problem with [name_u]Jude[/name_u]. [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would be my choice for this.

[name_u]Blake[/name_u] - Also in the same popularity realm of [name_u]Jude[/name_u], but I really don’t like [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_u]Blake[/name_u] together. They don’t go at all to me. [name_u]Blake[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] would be my choice for first/middle.

[name_u]Flynn[/name_u] - Although in the bottom quarter of the top 1000, it is familiar enough from the movie Tangled as the male hero to not be obscure. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] generally work, though I think their styles aren’t quite in sync. I don’t really like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] with either middle name, but if I had to choose one, it would be [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m].

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] - The [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] spelling make a different pronunciation to me. It is [name_f]Ro[/name_f]-han instead of [name_f]Ro[/name_f]-wen. Also, all I think of is [name_m]Lord[/name_m] of the Rings and the kingdom of [name_u]Rohan[/name_u]. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is also in the sweet spot of popularity, but I think the style clashes a lot with your other son. [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] don’t go together at all for me. [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] would likely be my choice of your middle names.

[name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] - very common, doesn’t sound good with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] imo. Also tied to religion just as much as [name_u]Noah[/name_u].

Some possible names for you to consider: [name_u]Finn[/name_u], [name_m]Arthur[/name_m], [name_u]Parker[/name_u], [name_u]Finlay[/name_u] (a little obscure, but you seem to like celtic/irish/scottish names, so thought I would throw it in)

We are expecting our second baby boy as well. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] was in my top 5, but my wife does not care much for the name. I think it is a great name.
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m] comes in second place!
Good luck!

[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] & [name_m]Julian[/name_m] I like [name_m]Baz[/name_m] or whatever and [name_u]Jules[/name_u]… The other names feel off together I agree, maybe because they’re short, but if he’s often called [name_m]Baz[/name_m] [name_u]Jude[/name_u] sounds nice together too…I think …
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] would be my top choice, followed by [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m].

My vote went to [name_u]Jude[/name_u], and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Henry[/name_m] – gorgeous name!

[name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_u]Flynn[/name_u], and [name_u]Rowan[/name_u]/[name_u]Rohan[/name_u] are my favorites on your list. With [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], particularly [name_u]Rohan[/name_u] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m].

I like [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] and [name_m]Julian[/name_m] from your list.

[name_m]Atticus[/name_m]

[name_m]Adrian[/name_m]
[name_m]William[/name_m]
[name_m]Oscar[/name_m]
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m]
[name_u]Alfie[/name_u]
[name_m]Edmund[/name_m]
[name_u]Emmett[/name_u]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m]
[name_m]Wyatt[/name_m]

[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_m]Austin[/name_m]
[name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m]
[name_m]Nathan[/name_m]
[name_m]Ronan[/name_m]
[name_m]Beckett[/name_m]
[name_m]Tobias[/name_m]
[name_m]Phineas[/name_m]
[name_u]Everett[/name_u]
[name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]
[name_m]Milo[/name_m]

[name_m]Julian[/name_m] and [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] are wonderful together!

I like [name_m]Julian[/name_m] with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] and I think these two names are classic, equally popular, (but not in the top 20 in Australia). My second picks would be [name_m]Benjamin[/name_m] or [name_u]Rowan[/name_u].

Thank you all so much for all of the feedback you have given us. [name_m]Julian[/name_m] has been the front runner for me for a long time and it is heartening to see that others like it too. We come from families of fairly conservative namers, so even names like [name_m]Julian[/name_m], [name_u]Jude[/name_u] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], which are all fairly common on Nameberry are considered a bit out there! I think I have been overthinking things and trying to find something else, but the names I have listed are really the names we like.

That being said, we still have a few months to narrow things down or add different names, so if there is any other feedback/or suggestions it is appreciated.

Thanks again!!!

I voted for [name_m]Julian[/name_m], as it’s my favourite from your list. However, I just wanted to say that one of our two cats has the exact same first and middle name as your first son. What great taste you have

I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] (this spelling) but equally love [name_m]Ronan[/name_m]! You’ve got a great list of names to choose from! Good luck!

My top name (as you can tell by my signature) is [name_m]Clark[/name_m], it’s not used often but it isn’t too far fetched. Very country, but also can be sophisticated. It depends what you pair it with. [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]? [name_m]Clark[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m]? They sound quite posh.
