HELP Third baby girl name

[name_m]Hi[/name_m]!

Needing some advice.

We are expecting our third baby girl at [name_u]Christmas[/name_u]!! So exciting.

We have a 3.5 yr old Amayah and an almost 2 yr old Lillah.

We really love the name [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] - it has been on our list since our first daughter.

Is it too rhyme-y with our other daughters’ names? Please let me know what you think?!

[name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] really is a beautiful name but it does strike me as very similar to your daughter Lillah’s name, or even Amayah’s. If it’s not too similar for you, go for it. For me, it would just be too close.

I agree I think it’s a little too close to your other children’s names.

Suggestions -

[name_f]Nolah[/name_f]
[name_f]Zara[/name_f]
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m]
Taylah
[name_f]Cambreigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Finleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Joleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Beth[/name_f]
[name_f]Kyrah[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Miah[/name_f]
[name_f]Paisleigh[/name_f]
[name_u]Raleigh[/name_u]
[name_f]Selah[/name_f]

Congratulations on your baby!

I find that it sounds very similar to both Amayah and Lillah.

[name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] is too similar to Amayah for my personal preference. [name_f]May[/name_f] I suggest:

Amayah, Lillah {and} [name_f]Hadassah[/name_f] / [name_f]Norah[/name_f] / [name_f]Selah[/name_f]

I think it does sound similar to both Amayah and Lillah but I don’t think it’s completely unusable

[name_f]Farrah[/name_f]

Sorry, it sounds far too similar to her sisters’ names in my opinion.
Does the name have to end in -ah? [name_f]Noelle[/name_f]/[name_f]Belle[/name_f]/[name_f]Caroline[/name_f]/[name_f]Eve[/name_f]/[name_f]Joy[/name_f]/[name_u]Winter[/name_u]/[name_f]Jolie[/name_f] would be cute on a [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] baby.
I also like these names with your daughters’ names: [name_f]Camille[/name_f], [name_f]Paige[/name_f], [name_f]Jade[/name_f], [name_f]Cora[/name_f], [name_f]Tessa[/name_f], [name_f]Mira[/name_f], [name_f]Arielle[/name_f], [name_f]Clover[/name_f], [name_u]Eloise[/name_u], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_u]Harley[/name_u], [name_f]Willa[/name_f]

It is similar but that is not always a bad thing! They would all end in ‘h’. It’s pretty common in my area for siblings to have similar names, even the same middle names, your names all stand nicely as individuals so [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] is a beautiful name and if you like it, use it!

Some more suggestions:
Amayah, Lillah, and…
[name_f]Malina[/name_f]
[name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_f]Aisha[/name_f]
[name_u]Sasha[/name_u]
[name_f]Dayanara[/name_f]
[name_f]Nayeli[/name_f]
[name_f]Kiera[/name_f] / [name_f]Kiara[/name_f]
[name_f]Alicia[/name_f] / Alyshia / [name_f]Alyssa[/name_f]

Amayah and Lillah seem to sound too much like [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f].

Amayah, Lillah, and:

[name_f]Eviana[/name_f] . Ivyanna . [name_f]Ivanna[/name_f] . [name_f]Sienna[/name_f] . [name_u]Sierra[/name_u] . Tianah . [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] . [name_f]Gianna[/name_f] . Gloriana

[name_f]Zahra[/name_f] . [name_f]Xiomara[/name_f] . [name_f]Ximena[/name_f] . [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] . [name_f]Valencia[/name_f] . [name_f]Simona[/name_f] . [name_f]Alexia[/name_f] . Rayanna . [name_f]Reina[/name_f]

Rheia / [name_f]Rhea[/name_f] . [name_f]Phaedra[/name_f] . [name_f]Freya[/name_f] / Phreya . [name_f]Shreya[/name_f] .[name_f]Qianna[/name_f] / [name_f]Kianna[/name_f] . [name_f]Ariella[/name_f] . Makaia

[name_f]Melina[/name_f] . [name_f]Marina[/name_f] . [name_f]Kimora[/name_f] . [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] . [name_f]Josefina[/name_f] . [name_f]Johannah[/name_f] . [name_f]Johanna[/name_f] . Joyanna

[name_f]Helena[/name_f] . [name_f]Graciana[/name_f] . [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] . [name_f]Genevra[/name_f] . [name_f]Farah[/name_f] . [name_f]Evalena[/name_f] / [name_f]Evalina[/name_f] . [name_u]Adria[/name_u] . [name_f]Briella[/name_f]

As several others have pointed out before, I also think [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] is too similar to your other daughters’ names; albeit a very beautiful one.

[name_f]Noelle[/name_f] - would be a nice Christmasy baby name that could work well with the time of year she’s being born at?

Based on your options though, you have a lovely taste in names, and I think these could potentially complement Amayah & Lillah:
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f]
[name_f]Clementine[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Blossom[/name_f]
[name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f]
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Arielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]

Thank you! For your comment

It strikes me as very similar.

[name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] looks like a mash-up of Amayah and Lillah. I realize that [name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] is a common Arabic name (as in Allah), but to me, it looks like a terribly mispelled, made-up name when used in the [name_u]West[/name_u]. The double “a” at the beginning and the i-y in the middle make for an unattractive spelling combo.

It is very similar… Maybe something along the lines of Indina/[name_f]Indira[/name_f]?

I think they’re too similar, sorry.

You might like [name_f]Eliorah[/name_f] or Elorah?

It sounds similar but if you love it I’d say go for it. For some reason I thought of [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] with the other girls names I know it’s popular but it would sound really good together!

Other names with the “ah” sound ending
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f]
[name_f]Lilliana[/name_f]
