So far some favourite
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
Thank you
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] are my favorites from your list-- traditional with a twist is how I would describe these combos.
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] is my favorite. It’s beautiful, like fireworks over a lake.
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], so beautiful! [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a close second.
[name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is my favorite by far, but [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] is my runner-up!
Another vote for [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f].
Thank you
I think [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is fantastic.
My favorite would be [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u], my second being [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f].
My favorites are [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f].
[name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] -> I like [name_f]Amy[/name_f] but it seems like a nickname to me. I would suggest [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]. Well, [name_f]Amy[/name_f] is not a nickname for [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] ([name_f]Emma[/name_f],[name_f]Emme[/name_f],[name_f]Emmy[/name_f],[name_f]Lia[/name_f] or even [name_f]Milly[/name_f] seem more obviour but [name_f]Amy[/name_f] could also work).
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f] -> I like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] but [name_f]Juno[/name_f] seems like a boy’s name to me. Well, I know that [name_f]Juno[/name_f] was an Ancient [name_m]Roman[/name_m] goddess but I don’t like girls names ending in -o, all of I can hear is a masculine name. What about [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]?
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] -> Again, like in [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f], I like the first name but dislike the middle. [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f] doesn’t sound like a name to me. [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] could work with one syllable middles like [name_f]Snow[/name_f], [name_u]Blair[/name_u] etc. but also with names with the stress on the last syllable. I would suggest [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f]
[name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] -> [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is great. I always loved the sound of [name_f]Holly[/name_f] but have never met someone whose name is [name_f]Holly[/name_f] (I know a girl who goes by [name_f]Holly[/name_f] but her real name is [name_u]Holland[/name_u]). [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is a classic that can work both on the first and the middle spot.
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u] -> The fact that the stress is on the first syllable and that they have the same number of syllables seems weird. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] sounds better but, I’m sorry, [name_f]Belle[/name_f] sounds more like a dog’s name to me. All of I can think now as a middle for [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is [name_f]Anne[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Claire[/name_f].
So, my favorite is [name_f]Holly[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. It is strong, classic and at the same time girly. Some more suggestions :
Instead of [name_f]Amy[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] :
[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Amanda[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Amalia[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Aimee[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
Why don’t you use [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f] [name_f]Amy[/name_f]? You will use your favorite names and at the same time your daughter’s name will be more “formal”. You could call her [name_f]Amy[/name_f] if you like it (I go by a nickname of my middle name so I think it’s quite normal), or use a nickname of [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f], I can think of the obviour [name_f]Rosa[/name_f]/[name_f]Rose[/name_f]/[name_f]Rosie[/name_f] right now but maybe you’re more creative;)
Instead of [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juno[/name_f]:
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Justine[/name_f]
or [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f]/[name_f]Cosette[/name_f] or other two-syllable names with the stress on the final syllable
Instead of [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Bluebell[/name_f]:
[name_f]Antonia[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] and like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Antonia[/name_f] could go with one syllable names and two-syllable names with the stress on the final syllable
Instead of [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]:
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f]
[name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Anne[/name_f]
or [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] [name_f]Amy[/name_f], so you’ll use another name you love as well:)
I hope I help you and you don’t find my comments offensive. The combinations are great but I can imagine a real person named like some of them. I’m a more “traditional” namer, maybe
Good [name_m]Luck[/name_m]!
