Help to narrow the girls name list

My husband and I can’t seem to agree on a girls name. I am in love with the nickname [name_f]Evie[/name_f] (pronounced ehv-ee, not ee-vee) and the natural choice was [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], but some of our family members have said do NOT use that name for multiple reasons. My first daughter is [name_u]Alexis[/name_u] [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]. We have a 3 syllable last name that starts with “R” and ends in “son”. So here are the ones that are on the list…

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]
[name_f]Briella[/name_f]
[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]
[name_f]Everleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Eviana[/name_f]
[name_f]Evelina[/name_f]

My husband thinks [name_f]Evelina[/name_f] sounds like a fairy (?Thumbelina), [name_f]Eviana[/name_f] is too fancy, and [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] sounds like a leaf :-?. I had a sister-in-law named [name_u]Brooke[/name_u] that was an evil woman, so I am leary of using [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u]. I do like [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]/[name_f]Briella[/name_f], but I am still stuck on the [name_f]Evie[/name_f] names!

Any thoughts? Or ideas to help sway the hubby?

I love [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] or [name_f]Evelina[/name_f]. [name_f]Eviana[/name_f] is pretty too. The others are not my style. [name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u] and [name_f]Everleigh[/name_f] strike me as super trendy (sorry if that’s harsh!).

Maybe [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f]? Or [name_u]Everly[/name_u]? [name_f]Evanthe[/name_f]? [name_u]Everly[/name_u] definitely has the eh sounds. The others are debatable, but I think it would work fine. Especially since you will be establishing the nickname as EH-vee early on. I think you should stick with it! Good luck!

[name_m]How[/name_m] about Geneveive, nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f].
