Most of these first names are as common as [name]Smith[/name] now, or will be soon.
Okay, [name]Hadden[/name] and Taylen I haven’t seen, but they’re very similar to more popular names. [name]McKinley[/name] isn’t common yet, but I expect it will follow other Mc- girls’ names.
Kyloh and Alora don’t even show up on nameberry’s database. Where are they from?
If you want something that will stand out, I’d advise staying away from K/hard C beginnings and -en/in/on/yn endings, for either gender.
I think more then anything, you should love a name. But I am completely with you where I also don’t want a common name.
I was randomly picking rare names (that I love of course!) and googled them to see if they came up. Some did, BUT the names are uncommon and chances are that there won’t be too many of the names I picked verses [name]Henry[/name] [name]Smith[/name] for instance.
[name]Clio[/name] [name]Smith[/name] (VERY cute and spunky)
[name]Arwen[/name] [name]Smith[/name]
[name]Amabel[/name] [name]Smith[/name]
[name]Nola[/name] [name]Smith[/name]
[name]Elaina[/name] [name]Smith[/name]
Yamila [name]Smith[/name] (Yamila is based of the Arabic name [name]Jamila[/name])
I agree with triplicate that most of your names here are quite common currently. Some alternative suggestions that are similar but more original:
boys:
[name]Xavier[/name]
[name]Henrik[/name]
[name]Philip[/name]
[name]Rainier[/name]
[name]Cosmo[/name]
[name]Theon[/name]
[name]Alonzo[/name]
[name]Hugo[/name]
[name]Oren[/name]
[name]Wyatt[/name]
[name]Zane[/name]
[name]Barnaby[/name]
[name]Raymond[/name]
[name]Theodore[/name]
[name]Elias[/name]
[name]Byron[/name]
[name]Quincy[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Gregor[/name]
I think that [name]Lara[/name] [name]Sophia[/name] [name]Smith[/name] is great (and if you’re in the U.S. [name]Lara[/name] isn’t very common). Of your boy’s ideas I like [name]Julian[/name] [name]Kylan[/name] the best, although beware that there’s a good chance [name]Julian[/name] will rise in popularity over the next few years.
I agree with the other posters that many of these names seem quite common at the moment (which is not a problem if you really love the name). If you’re really looking for something unusual then you might want to search through the list of unusual names to see what you come up with.
I did notice that some of the combinations you suggested have the same ending, and might be better switched around with other names. For instance:
[name]Julian[/name] [name]Kylan[/name] [name]Smith[/name] (-an and -an) might be better as [name]Julian[/name] [name]Kyler[/name]
[name]Nolan[/name] [name]Evan[/name] [name]Smith[/name] (-an and -an) might be better as [name]Nolan[/name] [name]Everett[/name]
I really like [name]Julian[/name]. I think [name]Jackson[/name] and [name]Cameron[/name] are too popular with your last name. I’m not crazy about [name]Caledon[/name] or Kyloe.
alternatives to Kyloe-
[name]Kylan[/name]
[name]Cairo[/name]
other name ideas-
[name]Shepherd[/name]
[name]Lincoln[/name]
[name]Callum[/name]
[name]Deacon[/name]
[name]Griffin[/name]
[name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Macaulay[/name]

[name]Duncan[/name]
[name]Kiefer[/name]
[name]Canaan[/name]
[name]Porter[/name]
[name]Keaton[/name]

I really like [name]Lara[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]. It’s pretty and familiar but not that common. [name]Natalia[/name] is pretty too. I think [name]Hayden[/name] is much better on a boy.
