My favorites are [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]-- both classic and elegant names. But I think [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] would work too-- while they do both start with A, they don’t sound alike. Although if you are using [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f] for nns, those are too close and I wouldn’t use them.
I voted for [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (I love matching initials on twins when the names aren’t too similar) and [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f], which I think are super cute together.
I voted for both [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] & [name_f]Victoria[/name_f].
I agree with @books_and_tea. I like twins with the same first initial as long as the full names aren’t too similar. [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] go lovely together!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] are also beautiful. I, personally, love long names. I think they’re so beautiful.
Good luck!
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] are sweet together, but there’s something about [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] and [name_f]Della[/name_f] which really stands out. I don’t think twins need to be remotely similar, and these two pretty names each have a lot going for them. ([name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] are too similar, too sing-song.) Could you compromise and maybe do [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] or [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Della[/name_f]?
I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]. I don’t think they’re too similar unless you call them [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Bella[/name_f]… I would also like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Cora[/name_f]. [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is not my favorite but it works.
I like [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] and agree that only nn get too matchy.
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] just makes me think of the Australian city and state and I’m from the US.
I think [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Lula[/name_f] are too matchy and Slone seems out of place stylewise.
I also love [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and would try to make that work with a different name that DH loves.
I personally have always been fond of [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] as sisters.
Perhaps a different belle name as the [name_f]Ada[/name_f] and [name_f]Ana[/name_f] similarity seems to be what it bothering you.
Maybe he would like [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f], [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], or [name_f]Mirabelle[/name_f]
As for middles I like _________ [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and _________ [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_f]May[/name_f]
Thank you all! I appreciate the responses Nicknames for [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] would be either: [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Bea[/name_f] (neither of us wants to use [name_f]Anna[/name_f]) and [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]'s nickname would be [name_f]Della[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_f]Della[/name_f], I think [name_f]Belle[/name_f] and [name_f]Della[/name_f] would get smooshed into “[name_f]Bella[/name_f]” too often, but husband loves [name_f]Belle[/name_f]!
Either way, [name_f]Della[/name_f] will get used - as a nickname for [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] or as a standalone first name.
The question we both wonder about is the style, flow, and are two first names with matching first initial just too much?!
Thanks again fellow berries
