I have been lurking around this site for weeks now trying to get some ideas for names for our twins! I have some ideas now but my husband and I cant decide or agree on ANYTHING!
I am currently pregnant with B/G twins and am “due” on [name]November[/name] 10th. The babies are getting big (and im getting huge) So I doubt I will last till the actual date!
Here are the names my husband likes but I am not a fan of…
[name]Liam[/name] (too popular for me)
[name]Stanley[/name] (too Old for me)
[name]Raymond[/name] (like the [name]RAY[/name] not the MOND)
[name]John[/name] ( too plain as a First name in my opinion)
Names I like but HE doesnt!
[name]Atticus[/name] ( he says it sounds like attic)
[name]Jonah[/name] ( he says it sounds feminine)
[name]Blaise[/name] ( he doent like the meaning)
[name]Sullivan[/name] ( he says too hipster… and i see on this site it is on a hipster baby list! LOL)
He tends to like popular or old, plain names… and I tend to like different more original names!
PLEASE HELP US FIND SOME NAMES WE [name]BOTH[/name] LIKE!!!
I will post a girl version in the girls forum!
Or how about [name]Sterling[/name]? It’s an older name, similar to [name]Stanley[/name], without sounding old and has a bit of the hipster vibe of [name]Sullivan[/name] without being that trendy.
As a compromise instead of [name]Blaise[/name] what about [name]Blair[/name] for a son and for a daughter to get a ‘ray’ sound [name]Reagan[/name]? However, that would depend on whether you like unisex style names for a daughter.
[name]Jonathan[/name] nn of [name]Nate[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] nn [name]Rue[/name]
[name]Jeremiah[/name] and [name]Judith[/name] nn’s of [name]Jem[/name] and [name]Jude[/name]
[name]Julian[/name] and [name]Cecelia[/name] nn [name]Jude[/name] and [name]Celia[/name]
[name]Willow[/name] and [name]Oscar[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name] and [name]Bartholomew[/name] nn [name]Tilly[/name] and [name]Ollie[/name]
[name]Hugo[/name] and [name]Claire[/name]
[name]Juliet[/name] and [name]William[/name] nn [name]Jules[/name] and [name]Wills[/name]
[name]Noah[/name] and [name]Hannah[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] and [name]Maxwell[/name]
[name]Beckett[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] nn’s [name]Beck[/name] and [name]Mia[/name]
I really think [name]Jonas[/name] is a brilliant suggestion above - ties to [name]John[/name] and [name]Jonah[/name] but is more surnamey for you and just not as plain as [name]John[/name] but has a more masculine ending than [name]Jonah[/name]. Although I think he should get over that - [name]Jonah[/name] is a very obviously masculine name.
I like the suggestions of [name]Jonas[/name] and [name]Dominic[/name] too. You could also use [name]Raymond[/name] as a mn since it goes well with a lot of fns. Here are suggestions that you might both like (and sorry for any repeats):
