Help! Twins due in 3 weeks and we can't decide on names!

I’m having identical twin girls in 3 weeks and my husband and I can’t decide on names!

We both love [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] ([name_f]Ave[/name_f]-e-lin) but can’t decide on either [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] (E-mi-lia) for the other twin. What do you think? [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] or [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]??

I love [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] and think it works really well with [name_f]Aveline[/name_f]!

I think that [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] sound like perfect twins and both names are equally as elegant but grandiose. [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] are nice but I know that if I had a sibling named [name_f]Aveline[/name_f], I would be disappointed if I was just ‘[name_f]Jessica[/name_f]’.

I would go with [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] seems dated next to those two.

[name_f]Aveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] are gorgeous together. [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] while pretty gets [name_m]WAY[/name_m] overshadowed by [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] while [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is on very equal ground.

[name_f]Aveline[/name_f] is divine. I really like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] for twin B. :slight_smile:

If you’re pronouncin it [name_f]Ava[/name_f]-lynn, I think I prefer [name_f]Jessica[/name_f]. If it’s [name_m]Ah[/name_m]-veh-leen or Ay-vuh-leen, I like [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].

My vote is [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]. But I had an idea. What about [name_f]Emmanuelle[/name_f]? I think you could pull it off and I think it would make a good sister.

Definitely [name_f]Aveline[/name_f] & [name_f]Emilia[/name_f].

There is nothing wrong with [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] but, at this point, I feel it is very dated and overdone. I have a sister with an uncommon name while my name is a dated and overused 90’s name. I always resented that and wished my name was more like my sister’s.

We were thinking [name_f]Avie[/name_f] and [name_f]Emie[/name_f] for nicknames :slight_smile:

My sis-in-law has a dog named [name_f]Ava[/name_f] so that’s ruled out! And a friend’s little girl is [name_f]Mia[/name_f] so we don’t want to copy :slight_smile:

Thanks everyone! I was pretty certain on [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] for the second twin (husband not convinced) as I was worried that [name_f]Jessica[/name_f] would be too ‘plain’ next to [name_f]Aveline[/name_f]. Your comments have definitely helped us make up our minds!

I love both aveline and [name_f]Emilia[/name_f]! However if you feel they are too matchy, then I would go with [name_f]Jessica[/name_f]'s inatead.
