Help us decide on a girls name!

As our due date is getting closer I feel like we’re getting more unsure of what name to choose! We had initially decided on [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] but are now having second thoughts. Our last name is [name_f]Lu[/name_f]. Middle name will likely be [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], or [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. We seem to like feminine names but want her name to be classy and professional as well! Here are the names we’re considering but any suggestions of a similar style would be great! Thanks!

[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Lu[/name_f] is a fine name but I suppose [name_f]Juliette[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Lu[/name_f] is the best substitute from your list.

I think based on what you’re describing, you’re looking for feminine but not frilly, and sophisticated/professional. Out of your list, I think [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] is the best fit for girly but not covered in frosting, and embodies a distinguished air that I feel will carry a girl far in a serious career.

I REALLY like [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f]. I hadn’t even thought of that as a possibility, and I like the name [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], but [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] is 110 times more beautiful in my eyes.

I like [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f].

The first one sounds more southern and dainty, while the second sounds much more regal and aristocratic to me.

I love [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] the best but would spell it simply [name_f]Georgina[/name_f]. Nickname [name_u]Georgie[/name_u], too cute! All middle names you mentioned would work fine, but my favourite would be [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], very pretty with your short last name.

Personally I can’t imagine going past the Name [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] as it is the Name of my BEAUTIFUL Toddler! Here are my thoughts on each Name on your list, mostly based on the people I know with each Name ( I find it VERY hard to disassociate a person from a Name, which is why I only ever choose Names for my Daughters which I have never “met before”, if you know what I mean), but if they are based on my general impression and NOT someone I know then they have a *:

[name_f]Arabella[/name_f] is pretty, but I don’t like it with your last name. It’s a little too “L” heavy. [name_f]ArabelLA[/name_f] [name_f]Lu[/name_f] runs together and hard to say. However, I do like the sound of [name_f]Cecilia[/name_f] [name_f]Lu[/name_f]. It doesn’t run together quite so much.

I was going to post the same thing as erin91. [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Lu[/name_f] is a tongue twister. I don’t think it works at all.

I love most the names of your list, but [name_f]Arabella[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is my favourite (and both names are also in my signature). It’s gorgeous! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] is quite charming too!
