Help us name Baby # 4

We are expecting our 4th child in [name]June[/name]. We still have plenty of time to think about name but I like having them picked out before we find out the gender.

My other children are [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] & [name]Iris[/name]

My favorite boy name is [name]Silas[/name] but because we have an [name]Iris[/name] we can’t use it. I also love [name]Julian[/name]. For a middle name is will be either [name]Harrison[/name] or [name]Harris[/name].

My husband’s favorite girl name is [name]Sofia[/name]. I love it as well but have been having second thoughts. The name just doesn’t seem right to me. For a middle name it will be [name]Hope[/name].

Any suggestions on names for baby # 4?

Oh wow you have a very similar taste in names to me and I’m also expecting baby number 4! We have an [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Lillian[/name] ([name]Lilly[/name]) and [name]Charlotte[/name]. We are having a girl but were going to use [name]Harrison[/name] if the baby had been a boy. We plan on using [name]Iris[/name] as a middle name for this baby after my grandmother. Are you me??

I agree that [name]Silas[/name] and [name]Iris[/name] would be too much. I like the name [name]Julian[/name] and think it goes well with your other children’s names. I think I prefer [name]Harris[/name] for a middle name with [name]Julian[/name] as [name]Harrison[/name] has a similar ending so I don’t think it flows as well.

Other boys suggestions-

We have [name]Sophie[/name] on the list for our little girl. I think it is a really soft feminine name. As you already have two girls with flower names have you considered using another one for a third daughter?

That is so funny. Our [name]Lily[/name] is [name]Lillian[/name] as well. And we love [name]Charlotte[/name] but my husband wants her name to be [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] so he can call her [name]Charleigh[/name]. That throw me off.

For [name]Julian[/name] we would use the middle name [name]Harris[/name] because I agree with you and don’t think [name]Julian[/name] [name]Harrison[/name] flows.

I love [name]William[/name] and [name]Benjamin[/name]. But my nephew is named [name]Benjamin[/name] and I am worried about nicknames for [name]William[/name].

We considered another flower name but the fact that our daughter both have flower names wasn’t done on purpose. We picked [name]Iris[/name] because it means rainbow. I do love [name]Violet[/name] though. But don’t want to have to continue the flower theme if we have more children.

I wouldn’t be too impressed with the [name]Charleigh[/name] thing either lol I do think [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hope[/name] sounds pretty though. I can understand not wanting to have to carry on the flower theme in case you have more daughters. Some of the other girls names we have on our list which you might like are-

That’s a shame you already have a nephew called [name]Benjamin[/name], his parents obviously have good taste  [name]How[/name] about [name]Joshua[/name] or [name]Jack[/name]?

I think [name]Julian[/name] [name]Harris[/name] sounds great and goes perfectly with the siblings’ names, too!

I think [name]Charly[/name] (pronounced [name]Sharlie[/name]) is a certainly a nickname for [name]Charlotte[/name] with or without [name]Leigh[/name] as the middle name. [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] doesn’t flow too nicely and the spelling [name]Charleigh[/name] is a little much.

Have you considered [name]Charlene[/name]? I think [name]Charlene[/name] [name]Hope[/name] sounds nicer than [name]Charlotte[/name] [name]Hope[/name] or [name]Sofia[/name] [name]Hope[/name], and it is a little less trendy/popular.

I love love love [name]Genevieve[/name]. I also love [name]Eliza[/name], [name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Josephine[/name] & [name]Harriet[/name]. But I think [name]Harriet[/name] [name]Hope[/name] is a little much. And I have a cousin named [name]Josephine[/name].

I couldn’t help but notice the month [name]June[/name] beside your other kids names. [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]June[/name] seriously sounds like the perfect sibset (if it’s a girl of course!)! That said, not so sure how much i like [name]June[/name] [name]Hope[/name], since both names are only 1 syllable. [name]How[/name] about [name]June[/name] [name]Harriet[/name] (if you are trying to honour a [name]Harris[/name]/[name]Harrison[/name] then [name]Harriet[/name] could be an alternative!) or even [name]June[/name] [name]Charlotte[/name] would be lovely.

As for boys, i agree with you that [name]Silas[/name] won’t work, despite it being perfect with [name]Oliver[/name]. To me, [name]Julian[/name] seems flimsy and very feminine - but i seem to be the only one around here that thinks that!! If you’re open to other suggestions, i could see a [name]Tristan[/name] [name]Harris[/name], [name]Jude[/name] [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Abel[/name] [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Ezra[/name] [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Calvin[/name] [name]Harris[/name], [name]Collier[/name] [name]Harris[/name], [name]Corbin[/name] [name]Harris[/name], [name]Elijah[/name] [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Felix[/name] [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Frasier[/name] [name]Harrison[/name], [name]Gideon[/name] [name]Harris[/name]
The bolded are favorites, so:
[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Abel[/name]
[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Elijah[/name]
[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] and [name]Gideon[/name] - this one is my most fave
I was trying to find names with strong i’s in them, as that is what [name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Iris[/name] all have in common, which is why i think [name]Elijah[/name] and [name]Gideon[/name] work so well!

[name]Hope[/name] this helps!

[name]June[/name] is very cute and I love it with [name]Harriet[/name]. But its just doesn’t seem right.

I love [name]Jude[/name] it was our top boy choice but its my nephews name. I also love [name]Gideon[/name] but its another nephews name. I do love [name]Elijah[/name].

I love the idea of having another name with a strong i any other suggestions?

[name]Ivy[/name] came to mind, but I think it is a bit much paired with [name]Lily[/name] and [name]Iris[/name].
Other suggestions (sorry for any repeats):
[name]Lydia[/name] (hmm, maybe not – a little too close to [name]Lily[/name])

for boys:
[name]Simon[/name] (my favorite!) – [name]Simon[/name] [name]Harris[/name]

Your kids have lovely names.

Ok, so names with a strong “I”. I would avoid using a name that starts with I, since little miss [name]Iris[/name] has already taken that letter. But thats just because i like each sibling to have their distinct letter…i will suggest a few though just in case that doesn’t bug you!

[name]Bryony[/name] / [name]Briony[/name]

[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Mila[/name]
[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Fiona[/name] - my favorite!

[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Finley[/name]
[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name] & [name]Atticus[/name]

hope this helps!

I love [name]Alice[/name], [name]Amelia[/name], [name]Fiona[/name], [name]Elise[/name] & [name]Emmeline[/name]. [name]Iris[/name] was almost [name]Fiona[/name] [name]Iris[/name].

I love [name]Atticus[/name], [name]Elias[/name], [name]Phineas[/name], Grifiin & [name]Miller[/name]. [name]Atticus[/name] is one of my favorite, but my husband doesn’t like it.

[name]Lily[/name], [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Iris[/name], and either ---- [name]Harris[/name], ---- [name]Harrison[/name], or ---- [name]Hope[/name]? Hm…

[name]Benjamin[/name] [name]Harris[/name]
[name]Eliot[/name] [name]Harris[/name] or [name]Eliot[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Frederick[/name] [name]Harris[/name] or [name]Frederick[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Julian[/name] [name]Harris[/name] - What’s the issue with [name]Julian[/name], then?
[name]Nathaniel[/name] [name]Harris[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name] [name]Harris[/name] or [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Sebastian[/name] [name]Harris[/name]

[name]Camilla[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Dahlia[/name] [name]Hope[/name]

[name]Katharine[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Matilda[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Rosaline[/name] [name]Hope[/name]
[name]Silvia[/name] [name]Hope[/name]

[name]Lemon[/name]

I love [name]Elliott[/name], [name]Julian[/name] & [name]Sebastian[/name] - I would spell [name]Elliott[/name] like this. I’ve been getting many comments on how [name]Julian[/name] is very feminine. We love [name]Sebastian[/name] it was our first choice for boy names its my husbands name but he goes by [name]Ian[/name].

I love [name]Dahlia[/name], [name]Genevieve[/name] & [name]Juliet[/name] - I don’t want to have another flower name even though I love [name]Dahlia[/name]. My husband said no to [name]Genevieve[/name]. I don’t want [name]Juliet[/name] to be called [name]Julie[/name].

I wish naming this little one wasn’t so hard!
