We have a daughter already and her name is unusual but not unheard of which we both really loved instantly but now we are 7 weeks away from our due date with baby number 2 + nothing is sticking this time. We didn’t find out gender last time + haven’t this time either so we are looking for unusual old fashioned style baby names to go with sister’s name [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m].
So far on our not so short lists we have…
Boys: [name_m]Stanton[/name_m], [name_m]Castiel[/name_m], [name_m]Wilfred[/name_m], Carrington, [name_m]Winston[/name_m], [name_m]Chester[/name_m], [name_m]Finnian[/name_m] + [name_m]Cliff[/name_m].
We love Thackery, [name_u]Percy[/name_u] + [name_m]Tarquin[/name_m] but didn’t want the same initial as sibling or surname.
Girls: [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]/[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Colette[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] + [name_f]Florence[/name_f].
We also love [name_f]Peggy[/name_f] + [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f] but again trying to avoid same initial as sibling or surname.
Please help us out, middle name suggestions welcome as well. We would prefer to have the same middle name initial as first initial but if its a stand out name we can consider that x
I really loved the suggestion of [name_m]Castiel[/name_m]! It’s no obnoxiously unique but it’s certainly not traditional! It has a nice ring to it and flows nicely with your last name! [name_f]Cassie[/name_f] or [name_m]Cas[/name_m] would be a cute nickname for her too!
Congratulations on baby number two!
From your boys list I really like Carrington or [name_m]Winston[/name_m] with [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f]. From your girls list [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] and [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] are pretty awesome with [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] too! That’s too bad about [name_f]Priscilla[/name_f], because it feels like a great fit.
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] came to mind for a boy; I love him with [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (or [name_f]Eleanora[/name_f]), [name_f]Harriet[/name_f] and [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] would be nice sisters for [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f].
With [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f], I like [name_m]Winston[/name_m], [name_m]Chester[/name_m], [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f], and [name_f]Florence[/name_f] from your lists Since none of those seem right, what about:
[name_m]Winston[/name_m], [name_m]Cliff[/name_m], [name_f]Florence[/name_f], and [name_f]Agatha[/name_f] are all nice sibling names with [name_f]Pollyanna[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f]!
Also: [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m], and [name_m]Simon[/name_m] are great.
