We just found out we are expecting our 4th girl (5th kiddo)! While we’re very excited, it is beginning to feel like we’ve already used all of the girls names we can ever agree on with the first three. We literally have ONE name we both like (Violet) but I can’t stand the way my husband’s family says it (imagine it said with a harsh, southern American accent), so I don’t think we can use it. We’re finding it impossible to come up with more contenders. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband has a strong preference for princess/fictional character names which you will see is reflected in the names of our other 3 girls. You actually listed a few names I’ve had on my list but hubs keeps turning down everything I like [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f], [name_f]Selah[/name_f], and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] are some that I adore.
[name_f]Arwen[/name_f] is one we’ve recently agreed we like but I am thinking maybe we can try to use [name_f]Violet[/name_f] as a middle name (since it’s not said nearly as often as a first name) but I don’t think they work together. Also, I worry that [name_f]Arwen[/name_f] is too similar to [name_f]Auria[/name_f]. Naming people is so hard!
Thank you for the suggestions! I LOVE Amoret/Amorette but he has rejected this one as well. I think we just have such different sytles. Honestly this process is making me marvel and the fact that we’ve come to agree on any names in the past, haha.
[name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] is one of my favorites but he keeps rejecting it. I need someone to create a princess with this name so I can convince him, haha. [name_f]Callista[/name_f] is another one I really like but he hates it. Right now he likes [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], nickname [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. I’m trying to come around to it but it’s just not my favorite.

While it’s not a princess name, it’s still a character from one of our fav series’ which is enough to get a thumbs up on hubby’s side. I think it’s a really cool name and I never in a million years thought he would have liked it but here we are - yay!
Now we need some middle name ideas. He suggested: [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Autumn[/name_f] - which I’m not totally opposed to [name_f]Bellatrix[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - still holding onto some hope for [name_f]Violet[/name_f] but does it flow well? IDK
