Our US-based family includes five older children–Catherine Amelia (Kate), Henry Eli (Henry), Theodore James (Teddy), Margaret Emmeline (Maggie) and Jack Arthur (Jack)–as well as a baby girl, Lillian Rosalie (Lilly), who we lost about halfway through the pregnancy last year. Now we’re expecting a baby boy.
Top name contenders include George, August, Benjamin and Alfred (Alfie). We also like Thomas and Miles but sort of like the idea of each child having a different initial, and we already have an M and a T. What are your thoughts/recommendations on the names I’ve mentioned? Do you have any other suggestions you’d like to add?
I like August called Gus. Auggie feels a bit too close to Maggie for me. Gus, Kate, Jack, Maggie, Henry, Teddy. A very nicely balanced set. Ditto Benjamin called Ben if you want something that will spin the vibe a bit more classic if that makes sense
Firstly you have a gorgeously named tribe and I’m really sorry about the loss of [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] I’m hoping that with the birth of your rainbow baby this will be provide you further peace and healing power
Congratulations on your son
From your contenders my favourites are [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] & [name_u]August[/name_u]. From the two [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] shines brighter I’ve always had a soft spot for [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] he’s so classic. I also absolutely love the nickname [name_m]Benji[/name_m]. I also think [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] fits in perfectly within your family. I actually love the idea of [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] [name_u]August[/name_u] overall such a handsome name that feels wholesome very endearing. I know that [name_u]August[/name_u] of course shares the same initial as Kates middle name but I do not think this is a massive concern. Middles names aren’t used regularly.

I adore your children’s names! What a gorgeous bunch. I think that [name_u]George[/name_u] would be absolutely perfect for number 7. So sweet, love that it’s a bit on the shorter side to round out the many long names, and gosh, [name_u]George[/name_u] is just so lovely. Warm and soft, comfortable and familiar, with such a vintage charm like big siblings’ names have! Super super beautiful. X
I love your style and I love [name_u]Benjamin[/name_u] from your list! [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] would be my runner-up!
