My husband and I are in love with four names and can’t decide on them, so I am seeking your help to give me reasons to weed them out. I hate unisex or popular names; those are just about the only rules I have. So here they are:
I’m not a huge fan of alliterative names, and [name]Leo[/name] [name]Moore[/name] has a bit of an odd flow to it (though I [name]LOVE[/name] [name]Leo[/name]), but [name]Oliver[/name] [name]Moore[/name] is just darling. Very cute but somehow sounds like the name of a professional to me.
As far as middle names:
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Bennett[/name] [name]Moore[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Holden[/name] [name]Moore[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Jackson[/name] [name]Moore[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] McLaren [name]Moore[/name] (since you have it on your list, it has a cool flow to it!)
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Quinlan[/name] [name]Moore[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Bailey[/name] [name]Moore[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name] [name]Wesley[/name] [name]Moore[/name]
I like [name]Leo[/name] the best. I think the M- names don’t sound too good with [name]Moore[/name]. The [name]Oliver[/name] has the strong ‘o’ like [name]Moore[/name] and ends in the -r sound like [name]Moore[/name].
It depends on what you consider popular. [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Oliver[/name] are steady on the rise. [name]Leo[/name] [name]Moore[/name] doesn’t have perfect flow- a slight snag with the o- sounds… I adore obscure names so of course I love McLaren [name]Moore[/name]. The variation of syllables and vowels adds strength. It isn’t for the faint of the heart, as it will get the most “huhs?” and sp. requests of any on your list. But once in a while, you’ll meet a gushing name enthusiast who gets. [name]Leo[/name] would be my second choice. Next best flow.
