Help Us Narrow It Down

First of all we want to say thank you for all the help you berries have already given us in naming our twins  We don’t know the sexes but we have two girls names picked out [name]Delaney[/name] and [name]Bristol[/name]! Now we need help with boys names. We have some possible combos picked out but feel free to rearrange them. Please give your favorite combo for each FN we have listed, we are pretty sure that those are the only FN contenders now. Make sure to give us your top 2 names as well! LN is [name]Kane[/name].

[name]Logan[/name] [name]Clive[/name]
[name]Logan[/name] [name]Riley[/name]
[name]Abram[/name] [name]Beau[/name]

[name]Amos[/name] [name]Clive[/name]
[name]Callum[/name] [name]Blake[/name]
[name]Callum[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Callum[/name] [name]Beau[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name] (DH really wants this but I am worried it is too much. Thoughts Please!)
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Boone[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Clive[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Beau[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Callum[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Logan[/name]
[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Abram[/name]

Thank You so much

[name]Logan[/name] [name]Riley[/name] [name]Kane[/name] sounds like a great little cowboy, and my other favourite is [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Boone[/name] [name]Kane[/name]. I don’t think [name]Samuel[/name] sounds very western but I think the middle name [name]Boone[/name] really pushes it there. Congrats on picking out two girls names!

I adore [name]Boone[/name], so that of course gets my vote! I like [name]Boone[/name] [name]Clive[/name] better than [name]Boone[/name] [name]Brooks[/name], but would you consider [name]Boone[/name] [name]Amos[/name]? I think that’s perfect! I also love [name]Callum[/name] [name]Beau[/name], [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name], and even sort of [name]Amos[/name] [name]Beau[/name], but I think that is a lot of name for a little boy to live up to! I honestly can’t decide between [name]Callum[/name] [name]Beau[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name]–I think both are utterly perfect and [name]Boone[/name] and [name]Sam[/name]/[name]Sammy[/name] or [name]Boone[/name] and [name]Callum[/name]/[name]Cal[/name] are really handsome together. I think [name]Delaney[/name] and [name]Boone[/name] would be perfect if you have B/G twins!

Good luck!

[name]Callum[/name] [name]Blake[/name] followed by [name]Logan[/name] [name]Riley[/name]. Nice names!

I love the name [name]Samuel[/name], and it’s my favorite from your list. I really like [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Beau[/name]. None of your other names really appeal to me, but I do love [name]Samuel[/name], and I’m sure whatever you would pick to go with it would sound great!

Thanks everyone! We are worried about [name]Samuel[/name] with [name]Dean[/name] because apparently there is a tv show with [name]Sam[/name] and [name]Dean[/name] brothers, I don’t think I have ever seen it though, I hear it is not kid appropriate…

@ashthedreamer - We would definitely consider [name]Boone[/name] [name]Amos[/name]. I love [name]Amos[/name]! I would love for it to be included in one name somewhere. I am leaning towards [name]Amos[/name] [name]Boone[/name] or [name]Logan[/name] [name]Amos[/name] but I am open

Keep them coming

[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Kane[/name] sounds so strong and handsome, and its the only FN/LN combo of yours that really works. [name]Logan[/name], [name]Boone[/name], and [name]Callum[/name] just don’t work in my opinion. However, [name]Delaney[/name] & [name]Samuel[/name] or [name]Bristol[/name] & [name]Samuel[/name] seem so mismatched. [name]Callum[/name] & [name]Delaney[/name] seems like a good option but I personally dislike C and K together so [name]Callum[/name] [name]Kane[/name] isn’t for me but sounds nice enough - despite not liking alternative spellings I would prefer to see 2 K’s or 2 C’s but you obviously can’t change your LN (Kallum [name]Kane[/name] looks so much nicer!). I’m very picky so you can completely ignore this - [name]Callum[/name] [name]Kane[/name] is fine!

[name]Samuel[/name] [name]Beau[/name] is a gorgeous combo and my favourite on the list.

[name]Just[/name] to point out when I read [name]Callum[/name] [name]Beau[/name] it almost sounds like [name]Columbo[/name] to me, lol!

I support your DH, please consider [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name].

My pick is [name]Logan[/name] [name]Amos[/name] but [name]Amos[/name] [name]Logan[/name] [name]Kane[/name] probably goes better.

I really like [name]Callum[/name] [name]Boone[/name], and I don’t think [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name] is too much at all so here’s a good word for your husband’s pick.

Edited for privacy.

I am definitely considering [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name], I was just worried that people would think we were naming him after the gun maker since that is his exact name! Everyone here though either does not make the connection or thinks it is fine so that puts most of my fears to rest

i love the name samuel but with your girl choices i don’t think it works. i would say delaney and bristol go better with *logan & *amos.
logan samuel kane
amos riley kane
i think all of the one syl middles sound too choppy with your ln.

SAmeul [name]Colt[/name] [name]Kane[/name] is much too abrupt, and I wouldn’t give the child the direct name [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name], however if you go with [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colton[/name] [name]Kane[/name] you get a much better result.

Have you thought about [name]Xavier[/name]? [name]Xavier[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] or [name]Xavier[/name] [name]Colton[/name] or [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Xavier[/name], all good combos with good flow and fit the criteria imo.

I personally hate the name [name]Colton[/name] :frowning: I have known so many bratty ones that I just cannot use it. I am ok with [name]Colt[/name] though. [name]Xavier[/name] is a lovely name but it does not give me the western feel whatsoever; I think he would be so out of place. We have thought about [name]Colt[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Kane[/name] but then he will be [name]Colt[/name] [name]Kane[/name] and that just does not sound good to me. [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Kane[/name] sounds much better to my ears. Can anyone else think of another way to get to [name]Colt[/name] without [name]Colton[/name]?

[name]Abram[/name], [name]Callum[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] are my favourites. I like [name]Abram[/name] [name]Beau[/name]. [name]Abram[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] would be my preference though, with [name]Callum[/name] [name]Logan[/name] coming in a close second.

I like [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name], but paired with your last name, it sounds like “[name]Samuel[/name] Cocaine”, so I think that should be out! Besides that, any one-syllable names sound really abrupt with the last name [name]Kane[/name], as well. I’d go with names that have more than one syllable.

I was looking at cowboy names and the one I liked was [name]Chad[/name], and the cowboy actor was [name]Chad[/name] [name]Cooper[/name] which I think is cool. [name]Chad[/name] is a nn for Chadric or [name]Chadwick[/name], so [name]Chadwick[/name] [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Kane[/name]. [name]Chad[/name] [name]Kane[/name] WDYT?

[name]Callum[/name] [name]Blake[/name] and [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name]

[name]Hi[/name], I just wanted to say that I’m sorry that I offended you on your “Can this ever work?” post. I hadn’t read all your other threads. That post was just the one that came up in my “Newest Posts” section first. If I had read this one first, I would have known that you were aware of the original [name]Samuel[/name] [name]Colt[/name]; that you have all these other boys’ options with [name]Kane[/name]; and you were decided on and happy with [name]Bristol[/name] and [name]Delaney[/name], and didn’t want any more opinions on them. I’m sorry. I didn’t know. It’s true we don’t have the same taste in names, but that doesn’t mean I dislike what you’ve picked out, now or for your other kids. I’m glad you’ve found a lot of helpful opinions on Nameberry, and I’m sorry that mine, though well-intended, was not helpful.

All the best,
